This computer has met my needs so far and is meeting my expectations for the most part. I do not use it as a tablet very much, but appreciate the touch screen. I have had one issue--the size of the items on the screen suddenly jump to a different size--usually very small-- when I am using the mouse or typing. I think that I must touch the mousepad with my thumb or something-but there is no way to lock the screen zoom so that this does not happen. I have installed a Logitech wireless mouse and use that instead of the mousepad, and it seems to avoid that problem. The wireless mouse is great when installed into one of the USB ports.

Laptop performs well but Windows update was not supported on the Lenovo computer which caused major connection issues and it seems to be interfering with the display driver as well...does not perform as well as expected.

    Great Laptop for Limited Travel

We were originally considering a "tablet computer" but the sales person introduced us to the Lenovo Edge. The screen was larger than the tablet could offer but still gave us the touch features of a tablet. Also, the 8GB of RAM and 1 TB hard drive were big pluses. Only real downside from our point of view is the weight but because it only goes back and forth between the office and home daily we felt that the pluses far outweighed the minuses. So far, other than my wife forgetting her password, we've had no problems at all with this computer. I have had Lenovo laptops in the past and have confidence that this one will perform as well as and as long as they did.

Awesome laptop, not so awesome bloatware.

So the laptop itself is fast, has a great screen and is perfect for what I use it for. It's not so heavy considering it's 15 inches, on account of it being pretty thin. Performance wise it's all there. What I didn't like about the laptop was the ridiculous amount of Lenovo bloatware, along with some pretty pointless Intel bloatware that does nothing but slow down the entire machine. I spent at least 10-20 minutes removing it all with several restarts thrown in. Once it was all gone this is a really nice machine.

It has a lot of features that I am not sue about and haven't used yet. The graphics card has issues but seems to function without slowing down. Sometimes it is hard to get it to wake up and I haven't used the tablet function yet. Barrett life is not as good as expected so that is unfortunate.

I had a Lenovo ideapad y650 for the last 8 years. It was an excellent laptop, but recently started to break down on me. I picked up the edge 2 because of the specs and the feel of the build quality. So far it's been a very capable machine. It's not as fast as a laptop with an ssd but between the core i7, 8gs of ram and a TB hard drive, it works just fine for me. Touch screen is very responsive. My only gripe is the click buttons on the touch pad. Unless you click all the way to the left, it thinks that you are right clicking. This can be alleviated by just clicking in the middle of the pad itself. Other than that, it's excellent. I've used it to DJ, record instrument tracks, etc. I highly recommend to anyone who doesn't need something for strenuous video editing or gaming.

I wish I could give this 5 stars but for the first 2 weeks I owned it there was an issue with software via Lenovo. Took several times thru remote connect before they were able to get it fixed. So far so good. I do love how sleek & thin it is. Powers up quickly (after fixing) now, love being able to swap it from tablet to laptop with ease. Overall I really like this laptop. It replaced another Lenovo....

Very thin and isn't overloaded with manufacturer "add-ons" or programs that tend to bog down a new machine. Nice to have a separate number keypad without being a 17" unit.

I have owned compaq and HP (basically the same thing) as my prior laptops. I now have this lenovo. I really like the sleek design, the numeric keypad installed, the 2-in-1 capability and the touch screen. If I could have changed one thing about it, the laptop only has 1 RAM slot, so if I wanted to upgrade or increase the RAM, I will have to wait for a 16GB single module stick. I purchased the laptop at the West L.A. store on Sawtelle and Pico. Matt was the gentlemen in the computer department who was able to help me. He is extremely knowledgeable. I went in to Best Buy looking at a laptop they had on sale, which I thought was a really good price, Matt informed me (and showed me) that, that processor would not be able to handle the tasks I would put on it. So we went to the open box items and he showed me this Lenovo. First and foremost, the thing I saw was the color, gun metal gray, I love this color, so immediately I liked the laptop, then Matt told me of all the perks it has, like the touch screen, 2-in-1 capability and the numeric keypad. He was incredibly helpful, and I truly appreciate the sale.
