great power and speed, functions as a combo laptop and tablet. As a portable laptop very light weight, performs at the level of a large powerful laptop. As a tablet thin and not heavy...Also screen resolution is great....

Compared this to the Lenovo pro 3, dell xps and hp 360x2 and for the price you get the most bang for the buck on this one

I was extremely pleased with this purchase. You would never know this was a refurbished computer.

I purchased this refurb unit thinking it was going to work like new, but I should have known, there was a reason this unit was returned. It worked fine and had no complaints, then one day it started acting weird, performance went down, took a while to load then all of a sudden it reset itself then went into a blue screen and wouldn't turn back on. When I took it back the geek squad said they would replace it but found it wasn't in stock. So I got a refund in store credit because I was 1 day over the return period. Not happy with a refurb product, going to buy new next time

This is my third refurbished yoga and they have been great. I would highly recommend.

I'm a graduate student, who uses adobe, Microsoft office software, and R/SPSS (statistics software) everyday. This laptop makes everything easy and fast, especially changing from laptop to tablet. I can go from solving probability to reading an article in seconds. If you need a laptop to help you with school or work, this one is great!

This is my first time buying a refurbished unit. Upon receiving the item, I honestly couldn't tell it wasn't brand new. I've been using it for about a week now, and it works great. Runs all my programs fine, including 3D modeling software. My only complaint is the screen flickers sometimes on startup. I get a stripe that sometimes lasts for up to 5 min on the screen. It only occurs about 40% of the time, but it is disconcerting.

I've previously purchased numerous refurbished products from various retailers and have never had a problem with them working, until now. Being that this was Geek Squad Certified, I thought it would have been thoroughly inspected and that I would have no issues with the laptop working. In fact, the description reads that "Geek Squad® Certified Refurbished products are thoroughly, painstakingly and lovingly tested, so you can be sure that your device will work right, right away." Needless to say, I received a laptop that booted up but once booted it would report hard disk errors. I updated WIndows hoping that there would be some kind of update or that it would self-repair using chkdsk. I ended up returning that laptop and placed a new order. Well, the new laptop arrived and I was pleased that everything updated smoothly and worked as it should, however, I was still disappointed with the numerous deep scratches on the housing. The trackpad was heavily soiled and the keyboard contained dirt/stains. Again, the description states that this item shall be "Like New." Again, I was disappointed but I ended up keeping it despite its imperfections. So, about the Yoga 2 Pro. It's an excellent laptop, feels light, good size, great performance, excellent display and features. The only things that keeps it from being perfect for me is that it does not have an ethernet port and the wireless card does not have an AC band. There are adapters available to add an ethernet port and wireless N is ok but it would have been great to have a wireless AC band.

Hi This laptop is great but need few things to be changed. Internet connection: this model is alredy equiped with intel dual band AC card so there is no issue with WI-FI known from older machines. Screen flickering and brightness. This need few setting changes described widely on lenovo support forum. Yellow collor issue: New Bios update + power management system update required. Still isnt perfect yellow but is acceptable. Battery isnt grate. After those changes seems to work grate.

For the every day user, this is an amazing value. Plenty of DDR3 memory, and a SSD to deliver what you need quickly. Tied together with a proven i7 processor provides smooth performance. The screen is absolutely beautiful, and a high def resolution landscapes plenty of work space. Loving the backlit keyboard, easy to see and use. Everything said, the one aspect of this laptop I love the most is the size. At just a hair over 1/2" thick, this is thinner then my Samsung chromebook! Small enough to have as a larger tablet, and large enough to be a fully functional laptop. Windows 8.1 is an every day struggle that is just painful to use, although a free windows 10 option brings the best tablet options from 8, and a revised desktop start menu creates a more user friendly operating system interface. For more advanced users, it is important to know that despite the 64bit os, this system is not 64bit friendly. Little problems loading a few different 64bit Linux flavors, nothing an avid linux user can't overcome. Mint installed without any problems. You can however expect problems loading a 64bit os in a VM. As a long time ASUS fan, the flipbook transformer was my next choice. In the end, this is exactly what I was looking for, and would buy it again full price. This is a lean, mean, processing system. I'm a hard person to please, and this meets every expectation I had. REFURBISHED! You don't get a fancy box, or book. What you get is a laptop, and a power cord. Mince came in very good condition, despite a small pen mark on the top, and a scuff one corner. This is however hardly noticeable (I had to look very hard for any imperfections), and nothing anyone wouldn't manage on their own within one week.

the laptop is very sleek, just like macbook air with super speed configurations. However, i ran into the Windows 8.1 update issue where u keep getting the annoying blue screen saying "Windows boot manager boot failed". which u need dig up on internet and figure out way to shut it down.

Excellent laptop to begin with. This is my first purchase of a GeekSquad refurbished unit. I must say it is absolutely phenomenal. Great condition, all accessories were present and the computer works as new. The screen is flawless as is the keyboard and body. no scratches or imperfections that I can see with the naked eye. Windows 8.1 OS works as advertised. Great job Geek Squad, you saved me a ton on a great machine!

I was very excited to get my certified refurbished Lenovo yoga 2 pro and for such a great price, until I tried to turn it on. It did not work at all, just had a blue screen saying boot failed. I took it to my local best buy store and they said it had no operational hard drive in it. They did not carry this exact computer anymore so they could not replace it, and they only offered me $50 discounts off the current sale price for comparable Lenovo yogas. A waste of time. I just returned it and am back to being computerless.
