Afterall, I bought my fiancé and I each our own Lenovo Yoga 720 laptops earlier this year, which have been fantastic. This machine is great out of the box: It's fast, capable - great for everyday tasks and for light gaming. I was able to upgrade the RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB without issue (the machine can support up to 32 GB, I believe). I swapped the 1TB HDD with a 4 TB one, and mounted a SSD to the back of the HDD mounting cage without case modification (got creative). With that said, there is, what appears to be a 5.25" expansion bay next to the optical drive that's free. Not sure of its purpose, though, as the front case face doesn't have an opening for it. Could be used to install a secondary / third hard drive using a 3.5" to 5.25" bracket, which must be bought separately. With that said, by design, it looks like the case only provides support for 1 hard drive, even though there are plenty of SATA ports available. Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase, and would recommend this to others.

I was expecting a powerhouse, but it lacks the necessary RAM that should be standard (about 12gb). I also think the Cache is too low. With technology today, everything should feel fast when you first use it...

The other one keeps getting the blue screen of death and resets itself again and again. Returned it today and traded in for another one. Now this one after it did its upgrade is not even showing any display. I don't know if this is windows 10 or the desktop itself, but I paid a lot of money for a product i have to return a second time tomorrow. Not to happy right now.

Posted .This sounds like an issue with the initial set up of Windows 10. Be sure to not select "customized settings", select "Automatic set up" during the initial set up options. If there is another issue during the initial activation of Windows 10, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery. You can use it to restore your computer to the system default or to a previously backed up state. Steps are as follow: 1. Repeatedly press and release the F2 key after turning on the computer until the Lenovo Rescue System opens, then select OneKey Recovery.
