In our my case I had a spare monitor tied to an obsolete desktop computer. This allowed me to ditch the desktop and have Windows 10 for a low cost. However the wifi connection is not really strong for this device and its not like a powerful computer but if you using it for basic web browsing its not bad for that which thats all this is being used for.

It took forever to set up and readjust the display so it would fit on the screen. It works great for him to log home and do his homework at school because he's only seven years old. From my standpoint is just extremely slow but it does serve a purpose and does that very well.

For the use as a HTPC or set top box, it is not as good as actually getting a real android tv or Apple TV like device, and it is quit an underpowered PC for productivity and no gaming ability what so ever, a Steam Link would do it better.
