It starts up instantly and it is fast enough with all my tasks. With the deal I got on New Years Day, there really is no better value.

The lab tops are great normal they are good quality. They are used to do school and also light gaming and surfing the web and other things. "As well as its programming will allow". My Niece she a gaming too rebloxs and other apps she likes her laptops as well and Nephew was happy to get their gifts have wanted laptops for a long time. Seeing how they were HAPPY AND they still are excited. One is taking programing gaming and is into gaming a lot although he may need a more advance computer to do that. He said he's new to gaming so. this is great he's able to get on steam websites and play Games. its light weight and is not bulky. the graphics are normal. if you're doing normal things/not for advance type of computer. The computer is durable. thanks BestBuy.

I was used to an “older” computer (laptop), and took for granted the speed and display quality. (I was always plugged in, so battery life wasn’t an issue). But the display was “eye opening “ ( though I was using a separate, 34 inch screen). Very pleased

It also fast and doesn't glitch, but it does glitch if you dont shut it down for a day or restart it every 2 days or something. But overall im so pleased with this purchase.

We recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings, these updates are crucial to the device’s health and will affect power regulation and fix software inefficiencies leading to improved performance. To check for updates within Lenovo Vantage begin by launching the application, then select the “Check for updates” button on the top of the right-hand of the display. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.

Decent laptop

An issue I had was that whenever I lifted the screen to open the laptop, it would turn on. Not sure how that setting got set prior to me using it or maybe it was done by default. Additinally, battery life is not the best. Charged it fully prior to setting it up and felt that the battery life was really low. Ended up returning it due to being able to fix my old laptop.

replacement computer

I uninstalled bloatware first...there was just a bit of it. It's a fast enough machine for web surfing and that's fine with me. I'm OK with the screen. I installed a few apps I needed. Sound, though only moderate volume, is OK with me...it's somewhat louder than the old Ideapad3. I had to edit the trackpad to not respond to certain taps that kept doing unintended opening and closing screens. The battery life and charging time is much better than the Ideapad3. Overall I like my Ideapad1.

The picture is not very clear so it would not be good for watching videos, but for word, adobe, and internet running at once, it has been serving its purpose.

Wish it did not have a soldered RAM card to upgrade it from 8 to 16GB
