Purchased this the day before Thanksgiving in the flash deal. Paid $129 for it. This little laptop has a lot of bang for the price. Does not get hot at all like regular laptops and last for at least 6 hours on a battery charge. Could not ask for a better laptop at the price. Very light weight and easy to carry around the house.

I watched and read quite a few reviews of this and other small laptops. I bought this for my studies, to be able to easily carry a laptop along with my books. At Best Buy the price was right, so I placed the order there. The laptop is small, lightweight, and this particular model is red (my favorite color), so that worked out great. The keyboard is comfortable to type on. The screen resolution is good for internet surfing, reading documents, and even watching TV shows. Battery life is excellent. Downsides (which I knew in advance from other reviews): not enough memory, and you need two hands to open because it is so lightweight that you can't just lift the screen, you need to pry it open. Also, I need to keep it away from my kids because their clumsiness might kill this thing (it is very "plastic-y", not metallic like my previous HP EliteBook laptop). But I can deal with all this. I am really happy with my purchase.

Great for the price and great for what I used it for. Don't expect it to be as good as a $2000 laptop. But for emails and for quick web surfing, it is a great little and light laptop. I recommend to buy a mouse because the touch pad is cheap and is not as precise as the more expensive models. You get what you paid for.

I bought this laptop for my daughter because she needed something for school. It's small and "cute" (according to her). Please be aware, this is a very limiting laptop. High points for portability, however, if your looking for something more powerful, look elsewhere. Atom processor, 2GB, and 32GB SSD, this is a tablet dressed as a laptop. If your OK with that, than build and price aren't so bad.

Great size, using it in the kitchen, for storing recipes, surfing the web, and using as a tv for our sling box! Perfect for our applications, enough storage for what we need and fast enough for searching the web and using as a tv. GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE, I highly recommend this Ideapad!

For those train or plane trips this pad is great for developing those programs. The two ports work for adding or storing your data. The pad has great battery life. All essentiall data is safely stored. A great buy for the price.

I bought this laptop for my wife at Christmas. Its thin & lightweight and seems to have good battery life. It comes pre-loaded with Windows 10, which is nice. It doesn't have a back-lit keyboard, which would have been nice, but for the price, it cant be beat. So far, we have no complaints.

I actually bought 2 of these laptops. First I bought one for my grandson in Kindergarten because he cried every Friday when he knew it was "computer day" at school. After a few days of using this at home, he no longer fears Friday. At this price, I wasn't too worried about him breaking it, but he loves it and is proud to take care of it. So then his 7 year old sister in 2nd grade had to have one. I'm amazed at what a great computer this turned out to be! Their mother "steals" one to check her email and surf the web. Very pleased for the small investment!

I was amazed at the responsiveness of this laptop. It is very fast as compared to similar laptops. I have used Word, PowerPoint, and Exel without a problems. I use it at work for 8 hours without coming close to draining the battery.

bought this for my 7 year old daughter. perfect for her needs. at that price range you can't expect much for speed or storage, but a great computer.

I purchased this laptop for my granddaughter for Christmas . Compact & light weight. Great for streaming movies & for writing homework papers. Perfect for high school and college students. Easily fits into backpacks. Couldn't pass up the Black Friday pricing - still a great buy now.

It's a great laptop for my 12 years old son. It's light weight, with long battery life, meets all the needs for his school home work and more.

I bought this computer on a whim as I needed a small laptop for a closed space. Machine is OK for price, but one big concern is that the display does not have enough contrast quality (or should I say depth) so the quality of webpages and video you are watching looks kinda... cheap, regarldless of how you adjust the settings. You get what you pay for.

Its small, light and overall great looking. You cant beat the price but a bit slow for my liking.

I got this laptop about two months ago and since then I haven't got any problems with it. The thing that makes this model super convenient for me is that I can work on my bed without being worried about overheating and fan noises (there's no fan in this laptop :) I added a 64 gig microSD to it and now I have lots of space for my pics n docs. I really like this small light laptop and recommend it to anyone that travels a lot.

Great product for the price. running windows 10, expandable memory and not bulky. just wish the screen was a bit more glossy(led like).

I really needed a computer to get my by for my class when my Macbook died and this did the trick! The only thing is it is difficult to scroll on pages because some you have to use the page down and others the down button. it's lightweight, inexpensive, and it works.

Perfect? No. High performance? No. But carefully setting up running tasks and removing unnecessary old Windows files makes it well worth what I paid for it (typical sales price). Throwing in Office 365 for a year also helps, but it would be better if Microsoft allowed you to convert it to a family versus personal version subscription - I'd do that in an instant.. I'm an engineer, added a 128GB uSD card, and was able to install and run Atmel Studio 7. The performance was equal to my Win 7, i7 laptop (this is a quad core Atom). Also, it's thin and fits into my bag as thin as one file folder. Just watch out for Chrome and many windows/tabs open.

This Notebook is perfect for doing the basics for school. It does everything I need it to and was easy on my wallet. It is easy to use and it does what I want when I want. Thank u so much Lenovo!
