Thankfully this computer was able to load Military CAC software and work with whatever program I needed it to. This computer has been a lifesaver for me and beat out computers in and above this price point by specs and performance.

Great for the price

I bought it to do school work and it works very well for that. My only two complaints are that it will sometime install updates without asking and that takes a while, which can be frustrating when you needed to get something done. Also the battery life isn't spectacular

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 100s-11. With regard to automatic updates, you can turn the automatic feature off. Go to system settings, select "Windows update settings". You can turn off the automatic feature for updates. Now you will get a notice that there is an update for your system. You choose when to allow the update. This also gives you time to create a restore point in case something goes wrong with the update. With regard to the battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

Small and inexpensive

He plays online based games and it works well for that. We did load Minecraft and it has a hard time rendering the graphics. This was unexpected but not a deal killer. So far it works great for him and battery life seems to last most of the day.
