It's a snappy little computer if you know how to use it. This laptop will never be a workhorse; sometimes it slows when playing videos, and you can forget multitasking with something like Spotify going in the background. However, I actually use my phone for most projects, so this is great for general web browsing, note taking, and some Excel. It's lightweight and sturdy, and the battery life is amazing. I've misplaced the charger a couple of times and haven't had to worry about it because it just keeps going. For the price, I'm quite satisfied.

I was looking for a second laptop for my daughter for school. I wanted a large enough screen, enough memory for basic storage, and preferably light weight. I needed basic internet function and Microsoft Office applications. This computer is a great size, light weight, fast startup, and the right price for those needs. No, it doesn't run like my MacBook Pro, but I could buy 10 of these for the price of that.

I have had no issues with this computer. Windows 10 has been difficult to get used to but that is user error. I have heard people say that it does not have as much memory but I work from word and everything goes onto a flash drive so I don't think that it will be a problem for me. The screen is large and the computer is light weight. I really have nothing to say bad about this computer. This is my second Lenovo and my husband uses the older Lenovo think pad now. I needed something a little larger for work. It's also a great price. I would recommend this computer to friends and family.

PROS: Super light, long-lasting battery, nice screen size, easy/comfortable to use. CONS: Celeron chip (subpar), 2GB RAM (insufficient), 64GB storage I gave this Celeron & 2GB laptop a try thinking I wouldn't really need a Pentium or Core i3/i5 chip or more RAM ... boy was I wrong. Multi-tab browsing is at a crawl (both on Edge and Chrome). Google maps is noticeably slow zooming in and out, scrolling thru pages has significant lag. I loved the size and design but couldn't handle to slow speed; had to return.

Decent computer (for the price) for freshman college student. Glitches at times but works well overall.

I bought this computer based the salespersons recommendation. I was looking to replace a small Chromebook with something that had a bigger screen but this laptop is way slower than what it was replacing. I bought myself a new Chromebook and gave this laptop to my daughter who loves it.

Easy to use and good functionality. I've had this product for over a year without any issues.

4.5 stars would be more accurate. Solid value; lightweight, decently fast for the specs. Office 365 for a year is nice, but of course gotta pay for it after that. Overall, it's got good value. For a secondary machine or casual use (internet, ms word, etc.) it's a nice pickup at $200.

For the money, this is a really nice laptop. I will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable piece of gear. The keyboard feels good, has nice display image, decent sound quality, and the laptop runs quite smoothly. I can't really complain for its price. It's definitely a great buy!

My son needed a laptop that would run Windows 10 software for some classes he was taking. I purchased this laptop for under $200 and he has really enjoyed using it. He has downloaded and plays games on it which surprises me since I didn't think it had much processing power. Getting about 12 hours battery life on a charge. Very satisfied with my purchase.

When purchasing a low end laptop, you know you're not getting perfection. But this was actually a pretty good laptop at it's price point. It had no issues with running the basic programs and speed was pretty good. The only downfall for me was that the speakers were located UNDERNEATH the laptop, which makes no sense.

We bought this laptop for our daughter (who is 10) and it is working quite well. It was a good price, and it has enough performance to meet her current needs. She is very happy with it.

For under $200 this was worth the buy. I purchased it just for classes I'm taking. The screen is smaller than I'm use to but, still just right for I need it for.

I am a part-time student and I love this computer for writing papers and researching! It runs a little slow and the speakers aren't loud but I don't mind it.

I needed a new computer to replace 5-6 years old laptop. The features I liked were: 1) light weight 2) battery charge lasts longer and 3) reasonable price.

Laptop purchases can be nerve stressing task. You have to weigh in price vs necessity vs convenience. Often price dictates the overall decision. Lenovo's IdeaPad 100s Laptop is a reliable buy at a medium price. At the lower end model range it sits in the lead offering a respectable Intel Celeron Processor, 2 GB memory and 14 inch screen real estate. Storage capacity can be a bit low. So keep external storage handy or invest in a larger HDD at a later time. More Power users should stay clear. Casual users can invest with a more satisfying experience.

I really enjoy using my Lenovo Ideapad 100S. It's lightweight and easy to type on. This Ideapad gets the job done!

Great battery life, easy to use and set up. It's fast and serves it's intended purpose.

Gave this computer to my daughter for her birthday two weeks ago. She set it up and has been using it but noticed that the internet runs slow on it. She rebooted but don't know the outcome as of yet as she did not reconnect. It is good for basic computer functions and hopefully using the internet.
