I was looking for a pc in the $250 range and I saw this one. I was comparing it with some other items at similar price but this one had the best performance, size was good (not huge and not too small).
Lenovo is a good brand in general, so I got this one.
It is the right solution for that price.

Bought this for my wife and her home business. Knew there would be some limitations and it wouldn't be as fast as a higher dollar product, but it does everything we need it to do for her for now. Have no doubt it will be a great CPU for a couple of years until she needs a more advanced model.

Keys are too sensitive. My hand maybe just near a key and it will act as if I touched the key. Very irritating when I am in middle of a paragraph and it erases it all and I have to start over. Maybe the "end" and "home" keys are too close to the middle of keyboard.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues while typing with your Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15 laptop. It may be that you are inadvertently touching the touchpad while typing. You can adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad. You can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Decent laptop for basic things. Would NOT RECOMMEND FOR GAMING or anything that would require a lot of power. Battery doesn't last long and one of the keys fell off and others keys are loose and feel really cheap. The touch pad is peeling and very uncomfortable to touch now. Very slow and takes "years" to turn on and when on sign in screen sometimes it wont pop up so you can't enter your password and sign in so you have to reset the computer. Chrome tends to crash a lot and freeze.

Going to have the Geek squad check it out, as it seems slow to get to the log in/password screen, and sometimes the internet browser will stall. I was using Microsoft Edge, but that seemed super slow. Mozilla Firefox is better from a speed perspective.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15 laptop should boot from off to the Windows 10 desktop in less than 40 seconds. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I needed a new inexpensive laptop for school and internet basics. The Lenovo 330-15IGM is fitting the bill quite well so far. Don't forget to run Windows Fresh Start if you want to get rid of some bloatware and increase your PC speed!

Lenovo computers ship with one of the cleanest factory software installs within the consumer computer industry.

I bought this for my son to use as his school and personal laptop. This sucker has good sized hard drive and a nice motherboard that is quicker than many give it credit for. He can play games on it with no lag and it does exactly what he needs it to do. It has the DVD-RW in it as they still need it sometimes in school.
Lenovo is easily the best computers on the market and I will pay the extra money to buy one.

This laptop is absolutely great! The speed surprised me because I didn't think it would be this fast, love the optical drive and that I have 500 GB to use. No worries about running out of room. Also, very slight warmth to my hand after 3 -4 hours of use. Nice to not need a cooling pad. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Just remember this laptop is made for light use and if that's what you need then you will be very pleased. .
