It is good . Price is also good but not that good .

The Best Buy online tool that helped me find this laptop and suggested it was great. It has excellent functionality and almost every feature I want. Only drawback is that I wish keys would glow in the dark.

So I have been using this since Nov of 2023, and after 1 year, the laptop hinge has become very unstable. The screen literally shakes because the hinge is very weak. Now, it has been almost 2 years, and the hinge is literally broken. The screen frame is coming off, too. I have always been very careful with this laptop and I did not drop it or anything. It just broke when I was in a meeting. Also the touch screen function starts malfunctioning so I had to turn it off.

I have been a long time Lenovo user has had 4 different Lenovo products. This model has such a poor quality fragile hinge. Less than 3 month I found a chipped piece on my floor wondering where it came from. Later I found it was from the screen corner right next to hinge which was chipped out. Every time I open and close it did not properly close and eventaully broke off the side support of the screen frame. I called BestBuy, which directed me to a wrong info to bring it into the store. When I got to BestBuy the repair worker commented that their BestBuy call center always gives wrong info. They were saying hardware problem I should directly call Lenovo. Also, I probably need to ship out to them. In preparation shipping out I took off the tape to keep the laptop screen to the keyboard, which I had applied since the hinge issue became worse, eventually both hinges came out and mainboard and screen doesn't stay together. When I called Lenovo they replied Hinge is hardware issue and not software issue so it can't be covered under 1 year manufacture warranty. I brought up its unbelievably poor durability of the hinge issue. As I spoke with the manager, she admitted some of Lenovo products have hinge problem such as Ideapad 5 82FG, which has the same design of hinge of Ideapad 3i this model. However, she said this model was not included in the company manual for free hinge repair, they can not do anything about this model. Now this computer died due to fragile hinge dislocation which caused the power line exposure less than 9 months of usage. I am not purchasing Lenovo again unless they have recall for repairs.

What are the worst laptop I have ever purchased performance wise zero star manufacturing wise zero star it broke from hinge unfortunately I had always been buying because of the price but now I learn to listen I will never ever buy our laptops. They’re worst and garbage.

I took it for my daughter entering the high school this year.Even after using the screen guard and careful usage, the screen broke within 7 months usage.The quality seems to be very bad.

The item came without a charger. Bestbuy refused to send me a replacement, but directed me to the store where they assured me I could get a charger. At the store they declined to provide a replacement. Another Bestbuy agent claimed this item "does not need" or come with a charger.
