Good basics, but some camera/audio issues

I miss a backlit keyboard, but was aware this was not a feature when I ordered it. The price was good, especially as I wanted a hard drive, not SSD. It hasn’t been without issues, though. Within just a few months, the video became jumpy and pixelated. Not fun during a pandemic, when your only form of interaction with others is a Zoom call. My friends were very distracted by it. The Geek Squad were helpful, but the laptop had to be sent to the manufacturer for service and was fine for several months. Now I am having to determine if there is an issue with the audio, as I’ve had telemedicine providers have trouble hearing me, even with the mic turned up to full volume. More investigation is needed, but I suspect it will be another visit to the Geek Squad.

Perfect for our needs (basic). Easily switched from Windows S to Windows Home without any issues. Used for checking emails, web surfing, paying bills online, with (very) limited use for work purposes. Not used for streaming content (music or movies) or playing games.
