I just want to buy MS Office and be done with it. I now am not sure which version to buy. I don’t want to slow it down.

With regard to purchasing Microsoft Office Suite, you can purchase the Product Key for the version of Microsoft Office you need, use that product code to activate the software for Microsoft Office installed with Windows 10 and your version of Microsoft Office will be available.

Hard to say anything bad about this PC because after 3 months it been over my expectations. Screen is clear and brite, keyboard has been fantastic backlit even, battery life superb, fast and to me a Star Wars Fan................AWESOME!!

Even though it rocks decent i7/8gb/256ssd specs... it somehow feels slower than you would think. The speakers are louder than most in this size class, but the sound is not nearly as clear as some others (asus harmon kardon).

Posted .This system weighs 3.08 lbs. This system has stereo JBL speakers with Dolby Audio Enhancement. This system is extremely fast, with its Core I-7-7500U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

According to Best Buy Geek Squad Motherboard shot February 2017 not worth repairing. Apparently, this is not uncommon with this computer. Total waste of money. I would never buy again.
