I bought this for my son to start college. He is not techie and this was enough laptop for his needs. He had some trouble with wifi dropping but it could have been our wifi because I didn't notice it happening at other sites. The ability to flip to table mode without removing the keyboard is a good feature.

If you're looking for a Windows 10 laptop that's easy to take anywhere with you and won't weigh you down this is a great contender. It's construction is solid, the metal upper and lower chassis lend strength to a device that's obviously designed to spend its life on the road. The full HD screen looks spectacular on this 11.6" device. Keyboard doesn't quite have that 'lenovo' feel to it, but it's good. Would have preferred backlighting on the keyboard. As far as processing speed, storage, and memory? For what this PC is designed for it's spec'd out pretty well; especially if you can get it on sale. The core M3 zips through just about anything you throw at it. 8GB RAM is plenty for document creation, media consumption, email, web browsing, etc. You obviously won't be hardcore gaming or video editing on this. 128GB SSD is a bit cramped, so if this will be your primary travel/work computer I might splurge for the 256GB model; just to 'future proof' a little. I docked 1 star because while intended as a 2 in 1, when you fold the screen back into tablet mode you can tell the panel and bezel are under considerable strain in that position. Backlight bleed becomes more pronounced in the corners near the hinges which indicates stress on the panel and bezel so I worry slightly about the longevity of this device if you use it in 'tablet mode' often. If you intend to keep it as a laptop and use it in the 'tent' position, you'll be fine and this should serve you for quite a while. All in all, nice job by Lenovo in the budget & and travel friendly laptop department. (USB charging is a nice feature too, no proprietary AC adapter needed).

I bought this laptop as a replacement for dell laptop. The performance is far batter than dell. Very handy and easy to carry while traveling. I also have a MacBook however prefer to use this Lenovo yoga 700 for all my business and personal needs. Nice product from Lenevo!

I bought this laptop as a Mothers' Day gift for my mother. I initially had the opportunity to use it to set everything up for her and I'm extremely satisfied with the performance and quick response of this laptop. I kept asking my mother from time to time about how the laptop was performing and she never seems to have lost that smile from her face since day 1 when I bought it for her. She's very happy as well. Extremely light weighted and very conveniently sized for a perfect modern day portability.

Overall, it does what I need it to. Clearly, this is not a processor for gaming, but for document creation and making spreadsheets, it's fine. I also like how lightweight and small it is - makes it easier to commute by bike. I might regret not getting the bigger hard drive later, but external storage options exist.

This is a great laptop for daily use. It has all the features necessary to do everything needed from word processing to data analysis. I particularly appreciate the small size and light weight as it travels well, and the keyboard is easy to use, too.

I have been in the market for a new computer for quite some time and have been trying to decide between a Mac or Windows PC. I was able to get an unbelievable deal on this Lenovo Yoga 700 machine. I am pleasantly surprised by the snappiness of the computer and overall build quality. The M3 processor is more than capable to meet my needs. I feel you need to know why you are in the market for a computer and what your actual usage will be. That is where I struggled. I read review after review and everyone is talking about how a Mac is better in every way. I am not sure about that anymore.....this computer has the same specs as the $1300 Macbook but I was able to get it open box for less than $400. I am happy to say I stayed with Windows. It will be replacing my iPad for my daily work and with tablet mode, I just don't see the purpose of an iPad anymore. I recommend this computer to anyone in the market for an ultra portable laptop with decent specs that can power through the day. Took off one star because the website says it has a backlit keyboard when it really does not.

Did the research and product comparisons and was pleased to find an open-box offering that helped further reduce the cost. Perfect for the young user to complete lessons for school. The bigger laptops would be too much to haul around school and tablet functionality is just not comprehensive enough yet. Comparable to the Surface in performance, but deemed that the laptop would be more durable for the young student. The other main objective: light to carry in a backpack.

My husband has a think pad but I wanted something smaller and more lightweight that I could carry around easily. This can quickly be converted from laptop to notebook. It is very comfortable to use. The only con is that the keys don't have a backlight. Otherwise, this laptop is perfect.

We really like this laptop so far. It has great capabilities and is compact enough to fit into a backpack for college use. It is fast and very efficient. I would recommend it to others.

good features, small, light, touch screen. One glitch, would not power up. had to research on the web to find out how to reset power error.

I got a great open box deal on this laptop. I couldn't tell that the box had ever been opened. The Yoga 700-11 is very thin and light. The Best Buy model comes with 8GB RAM and a 128GB SSD. The 6th Gen Intel Core m3 processor, paired with this amount of RAM and the speedy SSD has been more than capable at the email, web surfing, and other mobile tasks that I've thrown at it. Battery life has been good. The wireless card is an Intel 3165ac and can connect at up to 467Mbps. No trouble getting it to immediately connect to my Linksys 1900ac router. I purchased a convertible laptop so that I could use it as a tablet for reading magazines from texture and other touchscreen applications. So far I have not done as much of that as I'd thought I would. The keyboard is not backlit which I knew from reading other reviews - the BB listing claims that it is backlit. The 1080p HD screen is very clear but also very reflective. I would have preferred a matte screen. My other quibbles are with the trackpad, which I don't like as much as one w/ separate buttons rather than the integrated clickpad. The power switch is also a bit difficult to use as it's recessed to prevent accidental presses while using the laptop as a tablet. You will need a microHDMI to HDMI adapter if you want to connect this to a TV. The battery charger and cable seem to be proprietary even though it charges via a USB port. There is the usual amount of Lenovo bloatware - I've removed almost all of it. The installation of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update went smoothly. All-in-all this is a very good convertible laptop for the money, especially since it has been discontinued and is clearance priced.

so far ive had no problems. this is the first lenovo ive owned and so far i love it. super fast SSD, light weight, and multifunctional. i love the touch screen and the overall size of it makes it easy to carry inside nearly anything. windows 10 works well with it and all of the lenovo preinstalled programs. i had to remove a few needless programs but for the most part i kept quite a lot. i only removed a few things and they were windows 10 related. ive always wanted a small laptop and this one is a powerful one. Lenovo's specialty is tablets and laptops.

Got this ultra as a mothers day present and I kinda wish i got it for myself :). Its super lightweight and has enough power to pretty much do what you need it to do. If your not gaming some graphically intense games this comp will do alright for you. The m series although providing half the juice of the i counterpart also boosts your battery life way higher. Great laptop for travel and everyday use!

I searched for a moderately priced laptop to replace my old tank of an HP laptop. I was p[pleasantly surprised when I found this on on a special at Best Buy. It has enough memory and processor speed to handle what I wanted a new laptop for. The only thing I found as a issue is that is advertised as having a back lite keyboard. It does not. I saw this in the reviews so I wasn't dissatisfied since I knew of the issue before purchasing. All around great laptop for the price.

Decent quality for the price. Wanted something that would last a few years to get me through grad school without costing too much. Everything seems to work well on it but I wish the speakers were better. Battery lasts a few hours but has to be plugged in overnight if you just have the lid shut and in hibernation mode. Overall great deal for the price. Would buy again

Bought this for my daughter to take online math for extra credit. It's lite, great form factor, great screen even tho it's small. Touch screen works good and the tablet folding is a must have feature. Keyboard is smooth and not loud. Overall it's a great starter laptop or travelers laptop.
