Best Laptop for a $1000 budget

After the BB guy explained to me the difference between SSD and HDD, I was a bit disappointed knowing I would have to spent over 2K for a good HP with SSD, but then he showed me this Lenovo YOGA, he rebooted both the Lenovo and the $1000 HP and oh boy! the Lenovo was ready to go in 10 seconds! This computer is FAST! I'm not kidding! I was sold then. I love my computer, it's worth every penny, very happy with my purchase. Best laptop in the market if you have a 1000 budget.

Powerful, light weight, and convenient

I have used desktops and laptops, and now this convertible and I will not go back to either one.

Great 2-in-1 laptop

I love it! Windies ink functions beautifully with the Bamboo pen I got to go with it! Would be 5 stars if it had an hdmi output. That's the only thing I didn't double check because I just thought it would have one and that was my error. I love the silver body much better than the black All in all I think this is a great laptop and the price was very good deal for a laptop with these specs!

Knowing this would require spending a few hundred more for a solid state HD among other qualities, I tested almost every brand in several stores with multiple searches, videos, etc. and this one out-shone all in this price range ($900). Now at home for several wks, I like it even more - great resolution, too! (FYI, I'm not a video game player so haven't tested for that)

Be sure that your router is updated with the latest firmware to take full advantage of this version of WiFi. You can also look for driver update for the Yoga 720-15 also. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

When it died on me I decided that It was really just a big waste of money to fix it or buy a new Macbook. An employee spent about an hour helping me figure out what computer was best for me, and after a lot of thinking, this one was the one. It's amazing, has great speakers, great screen, amazing features. Windows is also pretty great....a big change but a good one.
