Return to Lenovo for a 2nd computer after ~8 years

Our first one was purchased ~8 years ago and we finally needed a new/2nd one. The new one works great and we are pleased with its speed, volume and computer screen.

Sturdy slim powerful laptop

Finally I bought this. Things i like about this laptop: 1) keyboard - Its second to none in this price. 1.5mm key travel, clicks and spacing is perfect for typing. 2) Battery : It easily lasts 8-10 hours. 3) Processor: I primarily use it for coding, and it does a superb job. Its more powerful than i7(U) processors. Yes Ryzen AI 340 is bit more powerful than this but is less efficient and just cannot match the compatibility of intel processors. I even run local LLM models. 4) Ram: 16gb ram with 8533ts is really top notch. Cons: Display could be more brighter. It has 300 nits and gloss panel. HP gives better display at this price i believe of 400 nits but for me it has bad keyboard. I found best buy service excellent.

Really great value

Plenty of storage and ram. Keyboard is pleasant feeling and not flimsy. Screen is vibrant. Overall the laptop doesn’t feel cheap even though it’s priced low.Battery lasts hours and hours.

A bit of a learning curve for some over 74 but got it worked out and in use. Fewer ports that older unit so I guess I will need to master cloud use. The touch screen use is an improvement over old unit. Old unit has a disc drive so it will be my video play unit!

Worth the upgrade

Making a list and doing research has never been easier. The battery holds well and also charges fast so that’s a plus as well.

The graphics are very sharp and the touch screen is useful. For what I use it for light computing and bill paying it works very well for me.

The only issue I currently have is as a hairy gentleman, the engraved Yoga logo on the side will occasionally pull hairs on my wrist. I'll end up throwing a sticker over that at some point though, so it's all good.

I’ve had HP’s for a long time and was hesitant to switch brands. Speed is great. Screen has great resolution. Very smooth transition moving data over from the cloud. Battery life has been excellent. I purchased it on sale, and was very happy when I saw other models for more money, but this computer is superior.
