Love this movie, the 90s was the best time for movies like this one, I saw this movie when it came out as a kid and I knew then and to this day this is a great movie with great writing, great actors with a great director, cinema needs this style of directors without using CGI, I miss the 90s action suspense thriller

Beautiful print, great sound (Atmos), and this release includes both versions of the movie (the theatrical release and the director's cut). I've seen this movie around 10 times and this Blu-Ray provided the best experience so far.

This movie is a classic! A hitman who lives a loner life hired to do what he does best. He befriends a young girl who's family is executed by a group of dirty cops. He teaches her about his "profession" & she teaches him about what life truly is about. Two souls from opposite ends of the spectrum find each other & learn from one another.

This is probably my favorite steel book I own. The design is remarkable and the price was great for such a quality movie. If you've seen the others in the pop art steel books, this is probably the best besides the one for Drive. If you like this movie (which you should) and you are looking to purchase the blu-ray disc, buy this ASAP.

The Professional is an outstanding move in any format but the UHD version makes it even better. The PQ is amazing and the surround sound is glorious. With my 5.2.2 setup I can feel the sound not just hear it. Get this already.

Natalie Portman, Jean Reno, Gary Oldman & Danny Aiello give the star treatment to this outstanding 4K HDR movie. Their performances, the video quality, music & sound effects are all superb. Go ahead and spoil yourself......you’re worth it!

stunning video and audio transfer is best one yet for this all time great movie....DON'T FOREGET THAT THIS IS THE MOVIE THAT SHOWCASES A 1994 PERFORMANCE BY GARY OLDMAN THAT IS WORTH OWNING FOR THAT ALONE!!!!....finally the definitive video transfer with dolby atmos!!!...must have even if you own previous releases.

I have this movie on BluRay and the 4K version of it truly does shine. Just like with any other 4K TV with HDR capabilities, you kinda have to set your auto-contrast to low or else this movie will look really really dark. Other than that, the visuals are top notch for this classic movie.

I fell in love with this film since I saw it on video many years ago. but this review is not about the movie, It's about the case; this steelbook is gorgeous, the artist this a perfect job of capturing Matilda's essence and the colors reflect so many of the film's atmosphere and themes. My highest recommendation.

If this title is still available you should pick it up from Best Buy because it is a great movie for a terrific price on Blu Ray! I'm not necessarily a big fan of steel book additions because they usually skimp on the special features but this one comes fully loaded and is worth the price to better protect your disc.

excellent packaging, and great pics on disc and great movie to add to the collection. Steelbook is always the great way to go, and didn't know that I got the unrated version with it on digital. So it was like a two in one.

I thought this movie was very well done and dealt with some very sensitive subject matter. The uncut version is very different and makes alot more sense. Watch it just to see Natalie Portman's beginning, it was clear she was meant to be a star!

Beautiful artwork on this steelbook edition of the classic movie from Luc Besson. A story about a young Girl named Matilda who lives with her abusive family in the slums. She befriends a neighbor who just happens to be an assassin. The two go on the run together when Matilda's family is murdered by crooked cops.

so i have about 7 4k blu-rays. the ones i had before werent that impressive. ghostbusters 1984, goodfellas, independence day, however the revenant looked almost like looking through a window. leon looks almost like that as well. quite wonderful. not sure if it is the hdr or what.

You don't know what you're missing. Great story with perfect mix of action, drama, and humor. Excellent writing/directing by Besson. Reno and Portman shine in the lead roles. Gary Oldman should have been nominated, he melts every scene he's in and makes you hold you're breath as soon as he appears.

It was a great shootem up! I always like Jean Reno in movies he always plays in character very well. It has a very strong plot and motivation for them to continue their way of life. It has a little bit of everything, Drama, Action, Comedy, but handle it very well.

Luc Besson at his absolute best and the debut of Portman on a killer disc with a great new transfer. This is the international "Leon" cut, so be prepared for a few scenes that might have you squirming with discomfort... and not because of violence. A brilliant film gets a great upgrade. GET IT.

I owned the original Leon blu ray and although it was good for its time, this new one is far more superior with the visual quality now showing all the fine details, including the background buildings (which were blotted out in the last edition). Definitely worth an upgrade even without an 4K TV.

This version is even better than the original. 4K and Dolby Atmos make it wonderful. I hadn't watched this movie in years and when I picked this up I couldn't wait to view it. It definitely did not dissapoint me. I have watched it at least 3 times since purchasing it.

I really liked this film as it has lots of action and takes you into a world of grit and determination for 12 y.o. Mathilda as she seeks to avenge her family's murders.
