Did it reduced my allergies, I guess so. The sleep mode is very quiet so it won't bother you during the night. Overall, for the price, it is not bad to have it to clean the air you breath, it circulates the air through it's filter, so it does something for sure.

I normally can't stay indoors for too long without feeling stuffy and this has changed all that for me. Also does a great job of cleaning the air after my dogs
