Levoit is a great purifier and customer service is great! I bought two in the past and had one fail before warranty was up. They reimbursed me and I bought this one. I noticed the specifications are different on the box than what’s on Best Buy & Levoits website. Specifications on the sites say rated power 33W and effective range 538 ft while the box says effective range 47W and effective range 442 ft. I use this a smaller room than 442 ft so it has no problem with purifying the air. Will get another in the future. Amazed on how much dirt and dust the filter has once the replacement light comes on.

Having two shedding dogs and family in and out of the house, this air purifier was necessary! And it definitely has proven itself. The air is cleaner, I sleep better and it’s quiet. What a difference.

So far it’s helped keep my living room fresh and smell free. Before I got this I noticed a lingering burnt odor from the fires we had near by. I believe it helped with getting rid of that smell.

It looks real clean and sleek. Very quiet on the lowest setting, but it can get really loud when the red light turns on indicating the amount of pollutants in the air. I also thought it would made a noticeably difference with my allergies, but so far I cannot tell.

We're happy to hear you like the appearance and quietness of the air purifier. When the air quality indicator (AQI) is showing red while on Auto mode, it will automatically turn the unit to the highest fan speed to filter out the room faster. The maximum noise level for this unit is 54dB which is no louder than a public library. If you feel the unit is louder than normal, let us know—we'd like to listen in to make sure it's working properly!

The purifier was super easy to set up and run. Also super quiet. My only concern is that I have wall to wall carpet and two cats. I fully expected for the air quality to reflect the pet dander and anything stirred up by vacuuming (as my dad's allergies go crazy when he visits)... but it never did. According to the display, the air quality was always great. I moved the unit to various rooms to see if there was ever a change. The only time it ever changed was when I was cooking pies for Thanksgiving and some filling bubbled over in the oven. Solid red level air quality was indicated while the air cleared. Since the indication was that I did not have need of air purifying, I returned the product after 3 weeks.

While large and bulky, it's not excessively loud on the lower settings. It definitely pulls a lot dust and dirt out of the air. Works best if you vacuum the outside of the filter every month until its time to replace it. Unit is difficult to clean though.

Ok. I was hesitant about getting any air purifier. Did tons of research and watch hours of videos. I kept coming back to this one. I have to say, that within a day I could breath better. I have had issues since staying home order and allergies. I'd go out, but I do work from home. With all the dust and wind in our area, I struggle with particles in the air after awhile. I also moved our dog inside the house 99% of the time. This thing works. I ran it for an hour on high when we got it. It is loud on high, but works. Sounds like the AC turned on. But then after the hour, placed it on Auto. My dog started walking around it, and the ring went orange. After it went back to blue, you couldn't even smell our dog unless you she was right next to you. That is a huge difference because the dog does need a bath. I haven't check the filter yet, but I can say the auto works. At least for us. I have it on all day in our large living room, dining and kitchen area. All three are 'open' and rooms are in back of home. I would say it's over 700 sq ft all together and high ceiling. But we can feel the difference. Pros: Seems like it works, haven't had to take a Zyrtec and it has been windy. Breathing way better than before. The appearance is nice (it is actually larger than I though, read the dimensions looks like and old round speaker bass tube with a 12" woofer) Product feels heavy and well built. Cons: A little loud on high. A bit pricey, but not to pricey. Depending on environment, might need to by filter often, especially when my Alaskan Malamute/Shepard starts shedding again. So far, I feel this product has been worth the penny spent. I will try to remember to upload photos later when it's time for a filter change.

This is my third Levoit air purifier, so I knew what to expect when I bought it. I love it. In a perfect world it would be easier to move around (wheels would be nice) and would support the Levoit phone app like my LV-PUR131 model I have in the bedroom. But price/performance considered? It's a good deal and I'm quite happy to find it in black too. Some people rated this model as too noisy - here's my thoughts on the 3 fan speeds... - Low: More or less silent - you have to concentrate to hear it. - Mid: Sounds about the same as my central air conditioning - very quiet and you forget it's on after a couple minutes. - Hi: Like having a regular fan running in the room. There is a bigger jump in sound from Mid to Hi - but also a much larger output of air (comparable to a large box fan). I only use Hi to clear heavy odors like cigarette smoke, cooking fish or something like that - then I go back to low or mid (or auto). Overall, I like Levoit because they're built well, they work well, it's very quiet (except as noted), the filters are readily available, easy to replace & reasonably priced and it does the job as advertised. I have one in every big room and use them even when there are no smells or anything. They make the air fresher and cooler and it's just a nice addition to the home.

surprisingly the purifier is bigger than I expected from the picture. its probably about half of my height but its very strong and easy to use. it detects if the air gets bad very quickly. I am pleased with my purchase because It purifies my apartment really well and my respiratory problems got a lot better after buying it so id definitely recommend to anyone with a space of about 500 square foot in need to purify your air quickly. in about 20 minutes the bad air is all gone

Works great!! I like the functions (e.g., auto adjust, air quality indicator, display lighting options), lowest setting is quiet (not silent). A bit unwieldy (no real handles) to move from room to room, but doable. Seems well priced for the square footage it clears.

I've had this for over a month now and it works great! The auto speed feature is awesome and adjusts the fan speed as needed. We have an air fryer and sometimes if the temp is too high and there is fat on the meat, like a pork chop, it will start to smoke. The air purifier, which is located in another room, will sense it and automatically ramp up the speed to clear the air within a few minutes. Wondering about noise levels, no worries. On low you really have to listen and get close to hear it. On high you can hear it if you listen for it, but other wise, you won't notice it. When it's on high and we're watching TV, we don't even notice it. It has performed better than I expected, looks great in the room, and I definitely recommend it. I'm planning on purchasing a second unit for the other side of the house.

Seems to work fine. When the air quality changes (cooking meals) the purifier adjusts it's fan speed to clean the air. The replacement filters are expensive and I'm not sure if they are as good as the original filter that comes with the purifier. The replacement filter looks like it doesn't have as much of the carbon as the original filter; you can see light coming through the carbon filter on replacement filter while the original filter does not allow any light to be seen.

Excellent! I change the air filters in my home regularly. My home is cleaned thoroughly frequently and I have a Dyson air cleaner, cleaning the other side of the house…. This machine STILL managed to pick up so much dust and particulates from the air that the filter was noticeably dirty after only six months of use. I leave the machine running in auto mode and rarely ever hear it working. In light of the wild fires in socal, I bought the machine and now have even more confidence that air quality in my home will be fine.

This air purifier impresses me more and more every day. Leaving it on auto is fantastic as it adjusts to your air and powers the unit accordingly. When I cook some food at home that expels a bit of smoke, the Levoit goes into action and ups the power level to clean the air. Since buying this unit, I have noticed the dust levels deposited on my glass surfaces is down to almost nothing.

I have purchased 4 different air purifiers in the past year. One was an excellent smaller unit but you can no longer buy filters. This unit was bought as a replacement & is wonderful. Using the automatic setting, it analyzes quality of the air & sets the speed. Once you reach High Quality Blue, it keeps your room air at this level. You must follow 1st instructions on setting it on high for 1st 15 to 20 minutes. Runs quietly. Very pleased plus earned BB rewards points.

This is a great air purifier! The choice of 3 fan speeds is very useful, especially when using it a common living area, as the the mid- high settings could be a bit noisy if spending time in the same room. The air quality sensor is also very helpful& dialed in. After receiving & plugging in this purifier we changed our house’s air filter (located in an adjacent space) followed by vacuuming. Within a few moments of changing this filter, the relatively moderate amount of dust that escaped from the filter was enough to register on the air purifier. Would recommend.

Great filter in comparison to other air filters i've had previously and my dyson filtering fan! I have really bad dust allergies and since getting this, i've been less reactive. Pros: - multiple settings (auto, hi-med-lo fan, sleep mode, timer) to really suit any person's needs. - really effective at its job - comparable if not several dollars cheaper for the filter than other leading brands Cons: - Wish there were grooves or handles on the side to move around - it's not heavy just bulky to carry around especially as a shorter petite person. - Buttons don't light up so if you're in the room in the dark its impossible to see espcially witht he blue ring light. - looks like a trashcan in my room (bulky)
