Through the app I can set a schedule, check the air quality, and turn the fan up or down without getting up or being home. My roommates have cats which I’m allergic to and it’s helped my allergies so much. Even if there’s a smell in the house from cooking or pets, I never smell it in my room. I have a pretty big room since the bathroom is attached and it handles the size well

Would recommend changing and cleaning the filter semi annually especially if you're using it to get rid of odors, the filter and the air it spits out starts smelling like the odor. I don't really use the plasma feature at all, this was just cheaper at the time.

So far seems to be reducing the dust build up in our room, we live in the country and the dust is a constant frustration. Also seems to be helping with the dog hair and definitely is helping my husband with his asthma. Happy that we got it.
