Have been wanting to get a new microwave for quite some time and had to finally decide to get a new one because of an issue happening with the previous one, which was quite a few years old. Not sure if I was having issues with my previous microwave making it happen or it was just the outlet itself, but the test button kept popping on the outlet. But after getting this new one, haven't had that issue happen since. The only issue I've had was when popping a bag of popcorn and it smelled like it was burning, but haven't had it happen with anything else. With reading the reviews of it being loud, it still does a great job and is about the same as the previous one I had and of others I've heard. Which it could also depend on the counter itself that it's put on making it sound louder than what it could really be. It does what it is meant to do and it's not overpowering loud and deafening.

I think this is a good, solid microwave. Heats quickly and well and the interface is relatively simple and straightforward. Also really good for the price point. I have 2 issues with this though. First it is a bit loud but that's tolerable. Second the alert on this (food done and timer) singular. What I mean is that once it hits 0 it does its alert but has 0 reminders. Thus if you happen to miss the alert or just hear it and get distracted you may forget about it completely. This seems like such a basic function and drives my 3 star rating.

I bought this microwave for my son's dorm room. I love that it is powerful yet compact. My son loves that you can turn off the illuminated display so that it isn't bothersome at night while sleeping.

We needed a microwave badly. I was trying 2 wait 4 Best Buy 2 have a sale. I waited 4 a week & it purchased the LG Microwave. It's a great microwave, great price, warms your food up perfectly & great size. We're very please with the LG Microwave.

So far, it does perfect in terms of heating or defrosting but somehow makes a loud noise at the start up and gradually goes down after a few seconds, the reason for only 4 stars.

This is the perfect mid size microwave. It is quiet when running. Cooks efficiently, Easy to use. Wish the back was more rounded for easier cleaning, but truly beats the last Kenmore that I had.

This seems a solid appliance for the price. It's efficient and easy to keep clean. We use it mostly for reheating foods or cooking veggies and it's perfect for what we wanted.

Works great.. But I think the noice is too loud.. And I have read many other review says the same. I bought this Item without reading any review. Overall great product for the price.

So far I'm satisfied with my microwave oven. I read the complaints of people saying that the door is too loud when you close it, or that the letters are too dark to be read, etc. While those are true, they don't matter to me since I'm not that picky (and also, about the letters in the buttons, you memorize where the options are after several days of use). To me it's a practical and functional microwave oven; suitable for my needs (just reheating food) and was at a decent price. Don't forget to register your product online with LG!

Needed a counter top microwave at a good price and thats exactly what I purchased. Heats up food effortlessly and easy for both my children to operate. LG is a brand that I've always trusted and no surprise this was a great purchase as well.

I enjoy the size of this microwave it's better than my old one I had. It's been working fine after having it over some time now. I would recommend it. Besides its just a microwave. But the size that you need is up to your own decisions.

We've only had it about a month, but so far it works great. Inside is kind of a slippery surface, so it cleans easily. Some of the pre-set times seem a bit off - 4.5 min for a potatoe? not even close. Takes 7-8 min. Good size. The outside dimensions were only slightly larger than our old 0.9 cf one, but the inside is larger; glad we made the jump to the larger unit. Did trip the circuit breaker once when we had the micro and toaster oven on at the same time (same outlet). Didn't have that issue with our old/smaller micro (less wattage). Didn't think about that when we upsized. Moved the toaster over to another outlet and it seems okay now.

Works well, easy to clean, affordable, looks decent in the kitchen. Definitely a good microwave, especially considering the low price.

I had the full size version of this, I did a kitchen remodel and had to downsize the microwave to fit in the cabinet. The size accommodates everything I've needed it to. It's incredibly easy to use. And much quieter than I expected.

We are really enjoying our LG Microwave. It doesn't take up a lot of space and has enough power to handle all the uses we have for it. Very user friendly with some neat short-cut features. A welcome addition/replacement in our kitchen.

Nice size and is easy to use. Fits all the different plates and bowls I use for warming foods and proofing breads. The finish matches the rest of the kitchen appliances and is easy to clean, including the inside.

The microwave is very well built, cooks evenly, and is easy to program and use. My only complaint is that it is a little loud

Great microwave for the money. If I had a single complaint I find that the buttons on the keypad are difficult to read, especially if I don't have all my kitchen lights on.

This microwave is easy to use. I never even looked at the directions. The inside is very easy to keep clean and the interior color is good if you do get a few spots in between washing. It heats up evenly. I like this microwave.

After 30 days I will give it a good product rating at an excellent price/value. Only complaint is - its my fault - for not knowing the key pad screen does not light up.
