We chose this microwave because it met our needs. It is also very nice looking. The only problem is we use it in a dimly lit area of our kitchen which makes the menu part difficult to read at times. The silver numbers tend to blend into the shiny black background. One feature I particularly like is the inside is very easy to clean. I do think it was a good option for our needs and fit into our budget.

Easy to operate ( even without reading manual) lots of extra options for cooking a variety of foods. It holds dinner plates and large bowls easily( a must for our family). Very happy with it!

Bought this to replace a Sharp that lasted about 20 years, if that exact one were still available, I would have bought it again. This MW looks good on the counter, but it needs soft rubber feet to keep it from sliding around when you press the door open button. I like the keypad in terms of cleaning, it wipes clean easily, but the buttons can take a medium hard press to register. Sensor cook works perfectly for popcorn. Other units I've owned and used have a minute+ button, hit it once to go for a minute, twice for two, etc. This unit does the same but in 30 second units, so for a minute, you have to press it twice. Also, I'd like to press in the amount of time then hit the timer to time something, but the timer on this is more complicated - you have to press timer, then the time, then start. That takes a little getting used to. One thing I like is that when cooking is done and it beeps, if you don't open the door, it will beep again in a short while to remind you that something's still in there (and keep on doing this until you press stop or open the door).

Nice looking and perfect size for a counter top with 1.4 cu, ft. Changes to design that NOT allow you to watch food cooking so you can catch spills are dumb. You cannot see in the door!. The inside is a dark material and the light that is on while cooking is worthless. Also the touch pad is a reflective surface with smaller numbers - really dumb for easy vision. You must bend to see the touch pad. Also the beeping at the end cannot be silenced as was with the older microwaves. It continues to beep and beep until you can stop whatever you are trying to do in the kitchen and address the END. NO OPTION menu. Unfortunately this looks like the state of the art for a microwave of this size. My old Kenmore only lasted 4 years but it was more feature rich and user friendly. PS the new Kenmore looks way more cheaply constructed than the LG - hence the purchase.

I bought this microwave to replace one I previoudly had that was about 14 years old. I love the look and size of the microwave and find the buttons and set up to be very easy. No real complaints as this microwave really heats things up quickly.

Seems to fit our needs and looks nice with the other appliances.

This is a great microwave. It has lots of features and is very easy to use. It also has a kitchen timer that you can use, while heating something! Fantastic extra!

Overall good product, but mirrored front does not allow me to see into the microwave while it is cooking. By the time I realized this, I already had it in place in my kitchen and there are enough other features I liked, so I did not return it. But I will definitely take that into consideration the next time I buy a microwave.

Replaced old model from years back. This is easy to use and more lightweight then previous models. Carousel feature is nice and runs quietly. The alarm of timer when food is done repeats itself until you open the machine which I would love to be able to turn off. Counter space was issue with old model, this one seems more compact for it's size and gives me more counter room.

We've had many microwaves throughout the years, and this microwave is by far the best of them all! It is quick to heat and very easy to clean.

Not only is it absolutely stunning inside & out down to the controls with an auto more or less time cooking up & down button, plus an auto one step 30 second on cook button & auto defrost. It is hands down the most beautiful, sleek, deco, high tech, expensive looking microwave out there with an amazing price & quality control from LG. I'd buy it again or as a gift plus it's absolutely huge inside with lined paint powder Teflon like coating for easy cleaning & durability for every thing you can imagine to micro bake! ;)

For a full size family microwave, this unit is the way to go! ! It's not too big & not to small. I'm a big guy & so are my 2 boy's. I like the style & the look. You have to keep it clean so you can read the buttons. Great price. It was around $90 bucks with the extra warranty. Great value! !!

Had to return the first one it didn't close properly. Second one works well but if you are someone who hates seeing fingerprints on appliances I would not get this one.

The LG Microwave is the right size, right color, and overall performs quite well. Only 2 minor negatives; 1) this is a countertop model that has hard metal 'feet" on the bottom, so every time you push a button on the front of the unit, the entire oven slides backwards on the counter and 2) it simply isn't as easy or intuitive to use as the 20+ year old Sharp Carousel microwave oven it replaced. I was able to largely solve the "sliding" issue by putting some stick on cork disks on the metal "feet", so that's now much less of an annoyance. I suspect my second concern re: the lack of intuitiveness is probably just a learning curve issue.

I got tired of stainless steel appliances and really wanted a white microwave. People say white looks old school but this microwave was white and had a mirror-like finish on the facade so it still looked really modern. Ever seen microwaves with nasty, splattered insides? We keep ours clean but for those who don't, the inside of this microwave is dark gray so it hides splatters pretty well. Loving the easy on function that starts microwaving with one touch.
