Bought one that pulled a low refrigerant error code after a week, which I am told is not uncommon. Returned it to a store and bought a second one online, which is working very well.

Do not buy this item. The packaging from LG is idiotic and has the supplied hardware bashing around loose inside the box, damaging everything it come into contact with, including the aluminium fins. LG should be embarassed that something so obvious to even the most dim-witted individual was overlooked. You will never receive an undamaged unit with the way they package it.

This is an absolutely wonderful air conditioner, I have a very large open space with vaulted ceilings and I wasn’t sure how well it would do when I bought it but simply put, I can’t believe what this thing can do and how quiet it is. All together I couldn’t be happier with this air conditioner.
