Very quite and efficiant.
Installed the 12K LG dual inverter unit for a sun room. Unit is very quite compared to an 18K Kenmore unit that was removed. Much lower power consumption than its predecessor only requiring a 15A 120 volt circuit. Power saving feature is not disruptive and the slow ramp up and down of the of the compressor does not cause power surges. An excellent upgrade. No need for WiFi connections since I leave it unplugged when not in use. (Florida thunderstorms) If you live in a coastal area, consider carefully painting the bare metal parts inside with fish oil or cold galvanizing paint. Years ago, wall units (Carrier) used to galvanize the sheet metal parts exposed to moisture. If LG can pull that off, Five stars!

Pretty cool/ convenient
Very cool. But very heavy-- in case you think you can move this thing alone. I like the ease of use its not the strongest, but it does cool my big living/ dining area. I like that i can turn it on from anywhere in the city. It also connects to my phone and lg tv, giving me multiple ways to access the ac unit. It self diagnoses, and tells you when theres any issues or filter needs.

Outstanding AC
Very powerful AC. Barely above a whisper unless full speed at cold setting. Built well but with caveats. One, the plastic tab that is inserted into the cabinet for the sliding mechanism? Not a very good design. Cheap plastic that was incredibly difficult to insert. Also, doesn't make sense to me why you have to remove the AC from its cabinet in the first place? Just design everything all inclusive. Adds to a large possibility of breaking a valuable internal component rendering it useless. For a 12000 btu ac it's big. Barely fit in a regularly sized window. You can tell the dual inverter tech will indeed help with energy usage. Seems to take much less than the 8000 btu unit it replaced. Overall very pleased. None of the issues mentioned would come close to keep us from purchasing again.
