Really nice micro. Great look, lots of space, nice features, very powerful. One of the nicest features is the all of the different automatic modes. It senses when food is done cooking or reheating by the steam or humidity the food is putting off! It's like magic. The food is very rarely too hot to eat right away, and almost never undercooked! If there is a complaint about this micro, it's that we don't need all of the specific cook settings for Mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, or hot dog. But I would assume most families with children would. Micro has a great vent fan, and the lights are nice . No complaints there! Nice unit.

Overall we're very satisfied with the microwave oven. We got this unit on clearance and saved a lot of money. Where this was a floor model we were a little concerned, but all parts were there and the unit works as expected. Our only drawback to this unit is that the keys are somewhat sensitive. You have to press them pretty hard to get them to respond and it almost seems like the numbers/activities are not 100% aligned with the receptors behind them. But once we got used to it it got easier. Overall very satisfied.

Shipped to my house in 3 days. Arrived in perfect condition. Basic installation was not too difficult for me being moderately handy. This is my first LG appliance and I am very pleased with it. It's very attractive, well made and loaded with features. I reviewed many units before buying this one and felt it was the best microwave in its price range.

First one arrived dented. Second one arrived with dent in same spot as the first oven, but much smaller. Fed up, just decided to keep it. On both ovens the extendable vent hangs lower on the right side. Tech told me LG is aware of this, and fix it by adding a couple washers to the first screw on left side. Doesn't make it level, but close enough. The rack inside the oven which is removable spends most of the time out of my oven because they have it positioned too low. You can't put anything taller than a coffee mug on the turntable below the rack because the rack is too low. With rack out the oven is very large on the inside. Would like if there were speed buttons you push for common cooking times such as 1 min, 2 min etc instead of having to push buttons multiple times. Lastly, you can't see your food cooking even though there is an interior light on. Tinting on the oven window is too dark.Very annoying. You have to open the oven door to see how your food is progressing. Overall, very poorly designed. I would not buy this unit again.

This microwave looks great and is very quiet. It was reasonably priced and replaces a 15 yr old over the range/microwave. Install was easy and I do like the the expanded fan area. So far it has performed above our expectations. The only function I need to work on is the defrosting... but that is a feature I am not use to using even on the previous unit---.

You can spend a lot of money for a microwave loaded with many more feature. I use the microwave to mainly reheat food, defrost items etc.. I never use a microwave to do my cooking on it. This microwave is well built, looks great in my kitchen and matches my other LG appliances. I am very happy with this purchase and the price I got at Best Buy.

This microwave came to use in a badly damaged carton. We suspect that it was dropped somewhere and now, besides the housing being buckled, you have to hit the keypad a little to the right of each button for it to register. It seems to still work, and the exhaust fan is great, but we are concerned it might not work as long as it would have if it hadn't been damaged. We would have returned it if we had a larger car.

This product works great if you take time to know the product. Only had it a few weeks but it is all we hoped it would be. I spent a lot of time researching a microwave to fit our needs. The description and comments helped me to decide on this model after checking numerous sources the best price was "Best" and since I knew this was the model we wanted it turned out to be a good purchase, so far.

I replaced a microwave that sounded like a B52 bomber, so I love that this one is sooo quiet. It has large capacity and good features. The slide out vent is terrific over my stove-top where the large burners are in the front. The pressure needed for the keypad makes me a bit nervous that it will not hold up well over time, but I guess I'll have to wait and see. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Even though you could extend the vent, the ventilation is not efficient as usually is with over-the-range microwave. You have to enter the number of minutes manually. There is no short-cut keys if you want 3 minutes, you have to punch in 3-0-0. Cook sensor is good enough to use but needs more options for type of food.

Just having the newer features that I am not used to is exciting. Pre-set kids meal functions, hold, warm, soften, melt and cooking until enough steam is produced from the item is awesome. I haven't over or undercooked a dinner yet. Even popcorn. The range vent is also neat because you can press it and it will extend over the complete area of your oven providing more coverage than your average over the range microwave vent. It also is so quiet, you can't hear that it is operating.

Overall really happy with this microwave. Really like LG products. The microwave cooks fast and reheat works great without over cooking. It doesn't have all the inputs my old one had on it, like just putting in # of slices of bacon and then hit start. But I'm learning to deal with that. It does have other features like turning off turntable and a turbo fan option I love!

Purchased this as a replacement for a GE model where the magnetron went. LG makes good products. It has a good warranty on the magnetron. Good balance of features and price. It's a great value. Only issue was the light at the bottom over the stove didn't work. I was able to install it myself and I'm not the most handy person in the world.

Living in a condo that doesn't vent the stove to the outside, it was important for us to have a great fan/filter. This unit extends the vent coverage and is able to catch most of the smoke from the stove. The charcoal filter seems to be working well for now as well as we don't have lingering smells. The microwave has many functions for different dishes and is working perfectly so far.

We bought as a floor model and it was missing all of the hardware. We didn't use until a few weeks later when we moved into our new home so did not notice right away. Best but was extremely helpful and ordered us new parts. Very sleek and nice looking! Works great and would recommend!

We purchased the LG Over-the-Range Microwave based on product reviews from multiple sources. Best Buy delivered and installed the Microwave. We have found that the LG Microwave is easy to use and works extremely well. We are very happy with this purchase.

We love this microwave! Thought our last microwave was a gem until we got this one. It is super quiet, easy to use and food actually tastes better when cooked in it. Really appreciate the vent drawer which extends the range of the vent - great idea.

Easy operation and does all that we need a microwave to do. Very quiet. Very large so no problem fitting in bigger dishes for warming up leftovers.

Overall another grey product from LG. This was easy to install and has all the features we need. Very easy to clean, plenty of room and very even cooking. The unit is not very loud and looks great.

we purchased this microwave to replace a 2 year old samsung. this microwave is easier to use, and much easier to install. took us less than an hour to install...highly recommend this.
