I bought the complete set of LG appliances for our new kitchen. Everything worked perfectly except the microwave. out of the box, the first one worked for about a week and then wouldn't recognize that the door was closed, therefore wouldn't run. I immediately replaced it with the second one of which the upper half of the control panel wouldn't work. I ordered a third over the phone that would take approximately 2 weeks to arrive at Best Buy, but as I was not willing to have a big empty hole over our new oven, they made me pay for the new one again and refunded me 2 weeks later when I made the physical exchange. This one works ok so far but I was discouraged that it took three to get a good one.

I wanted to get my microwave off the counter so I could free up counter space and this LG Microwave has worked out great! It replaces a vent hood, which required modifying my cabinets to get it the right height and adding a dedicated circuit. It is quieter than my counter top microwave when it runs. Some complained that the extend-a-vent was flimsy but it seems just fine, as long as you are not rough with it. I have had it less than a week so I can't comment long term but so very it looks and works very well.

Used this to replace another microwave and, so far, this microwave is superior to the one we had before. Has lots of features; is easy to work. The fan comes out over the burners and works more effectiely than our prior microwave.

I now have received 3 LG microwaves in the last 6 weeks. The first two were telephone/internet orders the third ordered at the store. The first one, the face of the unit was crooked, my wife noticed immediately, the body was level but the face was mounted on an angle, about a 1/4" off side to side, definitely noticible and it couldn't be adjusted to make it look good. Reordered and returned the first one. The second unit the fit of the door was bad, it was on an angle so it wouldn't line up with the key pad lines and the slider vent gap was about 3/16" wider side to side. This time I "IM'd" with the LG service, I was told to have service come out to look at it. Serviceman came out and said "nothing can be adjusted, order a new one, this looks like it was dropped in shipment." Returned the second one and reordered the 3rd unit. The store said they had two in stock but found out they had none. They asked if I would be interested in a different unit but when I inquired about a more expensive model they were going to charge me the full price for it. I said I got the first one during the Labor day sale, but it didn't matter, so I said no thanks. So BB found another unit at a store about 30 miles from my home. They asked if I would go get it, I asked if they could deliver to my home and was told for about $70 they could do that. I said "you have got to be kidding, maybe I ought to charge Best Buy for all of the installation, uninstallation and pick up and drop offs I've had to do." So anyway, days later I received the third one and wouldn't you know it? It was the first one that I returned weeks earlier. Unbelievable. Also, the customer service "kids" are kind of rude at the South Elgin, IL store. Of the five pickup and drop offs I have done, they have helped me get this huge box in or out of my car the first time only. I asked about a hand and the guy at the front door said "sorry, we're not allowed," Yeah right, it was ok when you took my money the first time! Anyway, I'll return this one when I find another brand I like from Grant's appliance. Already got my LG refridgerator from there on 10-21-11.

I like the way it looks, I like the way it works; very nice finishing touches with well thought speciality items and programs.

I bought this as an addition to some other appliances in the same family. Installation was a breeze, it looks great, and everything works great.

Product is wonderful. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Love the microwave. Had Best Buy come out and install it and did a wonderful job installing it. It is very heavy. Love the features for different foods. The extavent works better than I thought it would. Does leave finger prints.

This microwave is OK, but not nearly as quiet as our previous Kenmore Ultra

I Purchsed and installed this unit replacing a perfectly functioning whirlpool unit only to match the SS stove. The sale price was reasonable, delviery on time as promised. The problem I have is not with Best Buy but with LG. The bottom of this unit has an extending fan tray, nice feature but poorly constructed. When retracted the gap between the unit and this tray is way off, the left side has a 1/4" of space between it and the bottom of the microwave while the right hand side is closer to an inch. It draws your attention to it immediately and looks likea poor installation, when in fact it is either flawed, or desigend that way. I contacted LG directly and was told that since it was merely aesthetics, it was not covered under warranty, sorry. While I like the functionality, I cannot live with this major visual flaw.

We bought this microwave with a bundle deal with the LG refrigerator, range and dish washer. We have had it since March '14 and it works great.

I like the extended vent. The soften feature works really well.

Microwave is not to big or small. Controls are easy to use and understand . Food cooks fast.

We've had this microwave for a little over *one year*. First, the front panel broke and had to be replaced. Thankfully it was under warranty. Now it won't even heat and it isn't under warranty. Luckily we still had our old GE microwave I had used for *years* without problems. When we replace our range, I am going to bite the bullet and simply replace this with a reliable brand for the range and microwave. BTW, our LG refrigerator's ice maker broke within a year, too. We gave LG a chance, but their reliability has let us down.
