The speaker didn't hook up to the television in the way that the salesperson assured us it would -- the TV is about two years old and was purchased at Best Buy, but it did not have the outlet required for the speaker, so either a part was missing from the speaker or the salesperson was incorrect (we told him exactly what model we had). Returned the speaker.

Was stuck on the optical input and would not allow bluetooth connectivity or anything else. Audio jumped to level 50 every 30 seconds or so over and over. Subwoofer rattles during an intense action scene. I thought it sounded great but will definitely not purchase another LG.

Purchased this as I thought it would work seamlessly with an LG TV. It doesn't even recognize the LG TV via HDMI Arc. Best Buy not LG stand behind the products they sell. 50 days later still do not have a working set. But they both have their money so they don't care.

I returned this product. Arc function would not work through hdmi. I even had lg tv. Sound out of this system was not very good

Manual sucks haven't spent a lot of time yet but it's not working properly the woofer has green light but no sound.

I've had one sound bar before this with a different television, and this one is far superior. My only issue is that this purchase and several other large ones were not posted to my Best Buy account, therefore I am missing many points. Can someone at Best Buy remedy this for me now? I don't want to have to make a phone call or come to a store to get this done.

I've purchased 2 of these sound bars with Bluetooth subwoofers. One for myself, one for my parents. Mine works flawlessly, I absolutely love it! For whatever reason, my parents is having issues. Their subwoofer is having issues connecting to the sound bar. The "troubleshooting" aspect of the manual is very straight forward, but there aren't alternatives to various scenarios. Can't seem to find anything for troubleshooting this one specific issue. May have just gotten a dud. Overall, I'd definitely recommend!

Purchased this soundbar to add to my new LG TV. Plenty if power to full a room nicely! Easy setup and can use tv remote to control as well.

I purchased this sound bar for my LG 5600. It replace a Samsung sound bar with built in sub. I use simplink to connect with the sound bar through ARC. linked up and power on with TV. I have since replaced the LG 5600. with LG55" UH8500. again easy set up. If your TV has Simplink check how you are connected. Oh I am using the HDMI connection.

I love this soundbar. It took less than 10 mins time to unbox and have connected and playing. Simple! I use it with my 65" LG TV and can control with my direct TV remote which it automatically works with. I have it in an 18'x22' room and it sounds great. Nice low end. Well worth the money. Very glad I went with LG.

I bough this to use with my LG OLED and it works seamlessly. There was no complicated setup at all. I plugged it in and switched my tv to lg audio sync audio output and my tv remote started controlling the soundbar right away. Also love the fact that the sub and sound bar are wireless and support bluetooth. What more could you ask for

Okay to be fair I did read the reviews before going into the store, but I forgot which was which before I knew it. The Arc HDMI was not recognized on my brand new insignia tv (which also has ARC hdmi)....that was the first bummer. Second bummer is that my IPOD would not be read by the soundbar from the USB port.....read ERROR (both ipod and cord are surely good) The sound is nice and crisp, I like it. But the features were not up to par. I will be returning for, likely a samsung or sony. I think this unit would work great for people only watching tv. Subwoofer hookup was a breeze. Might want to get a universal remote for both tv and soundbar as well (unless a samsung tv hooks up better than the Insignia tv which is definately a possibility.) Optical Audio works well I hope this helps someone.

This is one of the better sound bars, sounds clear and the subwoofer is awesome. I love the bass and voices are clear. Like the fact that the bass can be adjusted to your liking. Was really surprised how nice the sound is.

Got as part of the promo with a Samsung TV. Works very nicely with the TV and looks good underneath it. My only complaint is that it didn't come with any mounting mollys.

I would have given this soundbar a 5 if it wasn't for the fact that the bluetooth connectivity is unsecured, which means that in my apartment building there are constantly people connecting to my sound bar at all hours of the day, including one night when i was awaken at 3 am by someone who i guess mistook my bluetooth speaker for theres. Called LG theres no solution

Easy setup, excellent sound. Even better than the LG sound bar I purchased a few years ago for a different TV. Would recommend this one highly.

The sound bar was very easy to install. Once I turned off the TV sound the sound quality was great. Matched up well with my LG TV.

Happy with purchase. Fits right under my TV. Wireless sub is nice to have.

Saves space over my old receiver and 6 speakers but sound is subpar

This is definitely a job for two people! Install was interesting and kind of a pain, but it sounds great. Blue tooth is awesome but you can't go more than 50 ft from the speaker before it gets garbled.
