Maybe I just got a dud unit, but the control board on mine had issues, and its already discontinued so I have to return the whole fridge since randomly the upper half of both fridge/freezer will stop working properly and everything will defrost and be ruined randomly. My other major issue with this fridge is the design of the water dispenser. It's angled out from the fridge so it basically sprays all over the floor, anytime someone uses it for the first time, they end up shooting water everywhere instead of their glass. The door-in-door and instaview is really nice, I find myself accessing the main fridge much less frequently since I store oft-accessed stuff in the pocket door. Probably saves quite a bit on energy. It's also EXTREMELY quiet, only thing I periodically hear is ice dropping as its being made.

The door in door feature is great and the fridge worked well. The quality of materials and the well-designed doors and lighting is premium. The fridge/freezer suddenly stopped cooling after 2 years. The support is pretty good and they pay for lost food. Giving only 3 stars because there was no warning about the high temperature. I noticed only after seeing the puddle of water from the melted ice. It has “Smart WiFi” and the LG ThinQ app that are wholly useless. The app doesn’t even tell you the internal temperature, no alerts. The “diagnostics” feature that supposedly sends details to the Repair Center doesn’t work. Support had no access to the diagnostics. Hopefully the repair will work and it will last a long time, but I’m not optimistic.

Great refrigerator all around. Just wish the ice and water dispenser were designed a bit differently, especially the water dispenser. Very hard to keep clean and will make a mess if cup or bottle is not in the precise location.

Our kitchen cabinets only allowed for a counter depth refrigerator so it is a smaller capacity but fits perfectly in our space. Nice product except for the water dispenser design. Water spills or drips every time we use it which is frustrating. Otherwise this is perfect for our needs and is also stylish.

Door in door turns out to be a practical feature along with the knock view. Very quiet, and the front mount water dispenser accommodates any size container.

Awesome refrigerator love all the features and glad I went with counter depth. More than enough room for 2 people

I like it, but the Frig side door is really heavy and doesn’t stay open when needed. The ice maker still tastes funny although I followed the e instructions for it, and it would be great if the made an alkaline water filter for this model as well

The knock door is great with kids. No more kids standing with the door open for 10 minutes looking for what they want. The outer door also keeps milk, sodas, condiments just as cold as if they were inside the actual unit. The Counter-Depth unit greatly improved my kitchen space too.

We had to replace the ice maker after 6 months, but it's mostly fine now. It sent me a text to replace the air filter - but I can't find it yet. At least the water filter is easy to replace. Buy filters on Amazon.

Thumbs up for the glass door. Appreciate the monthly feedback regarding energy usage. Size a little too small for the family, but had to settle for this since the bigger version broke down on day 1

Excellent storage for produce in two large crispers. Love the smaller outside door for items frequently used. Water dispenser scratches easily, within weeks. Disappointing considering that feature is front and center.

Arrived with dented door but that was a delivery problem. The drawers in fridge and freezer do not slide as easily as they should. I love the door in door and the side by side style.

Great price! On the plus: Love the heavy dors, the water configuration allows for easily filling large water bottles without having to tip the bottle, the ice size is petite, easily drops into water bottles and other smaller cups, door in door feature is too neato for words(!), plenty of interior storage, like the ice on the door vs taking up precious freezer space.

Great fridge, we just don't have enough time with it to give full 5 stars. Nice design and not a huge amount of space, but its counter depth so we understood it was a bit less.

This was the only counter depth fridge that fit the space perfectly, and boy do we love it. The look inside feels luxurious and clean, and we love having a compartment that can have variable temperature settings. We exchanged an LG for this unit and are thrilled with our decision. I wish the ice machine was a little bigger and made more ice, but that’s the norm these days.

Very good price. Everything works well except one of the plastic drawer has a long crack. A replacement drawer has been ordered, but very long lead time (over 22.5 months).

We're very satisfied with this fridge. We seldom use the InstaView option to see what's inside but the Door-in-Door is used daily. I particularly love the Door-in-Door feature as I don't have to open the entire door to get the milk for my cereal!

This refrigerator is just what we needed. It is very spacious for being Counter-Depth. The InstaView Door-in-Door is so handy. The Stainless Steel finish is simple to keep clean with just soap and water. Having the ice maker on the door in the freezer gives extra room there as well. Great product!
