Icemaker never worked right
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fridge is great and has worked perfectly for 3 years EXCEPT the icemaker, which we've fought with freezing issues the entire time we've had it. Within 3 months, I had a service tech out to replace the solenoid on the fill tube and everything was quiet for a while, but now the icemaker tube constantly freezes over even after replacing the solenoid assembly multiple times and no one in my area services LG anymore, so I guess I'm out of luck. Go with a different brand, LG does not stand by their products once they are out of warranty.

The fridge is ok except the doors don't close

Thank goodness for that ding, but it would have been even better if the doors would just close without being pushed.

Don’t recommend
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this appliance on June 1 , 2019 and on the 20 th of July the freezer starting defrosting. I called LG did a diagnosis over the phone they ordered a part and couldn’t come service it until August 1 st when they came it was the wrong part Now have to wait another week another week to replace the compressor and filter. So have to be without for 4 weeks. Very disappointed that no one would compensate me !!!

Loud Random Shaking and Rattling

It was replaced a week later but continued to make the noises off and on throughout the week I had it. I thought it was a lemon so replaced it with the same model. One week after having the replacement it started doing the exact same thing. It is a huge hassle to have to replace a refrigerator 3 times in a month. If you want to avoid that, avoid this refrigerator!

Compact for small area but defective freezer door

A few weeks after the 1 year warranty expired the freezer door wouldn’t open all the way for the 4th time & they would not cover fixing it. They want to charge me $400.00 to fix the door which was obviously defective. It still only opens about 6 inches.

Buy a different brand

When the power came back, the unit died a slow and painful death. First, no ice. Then the freezer started warming, followed by the fridge. It took LG forever to get the parts in an attempt to fix it, then the tech cut the line too short and had to damage out the entire unit. LG's already had one class action suit against them for faulty compressors, which is what died in my unit. I've been without a fridge for almost 2 months, and just got the paperwork to get my refund. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Do yourself a favor - buy something else.

Don’t Buy
