PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Do NOT, Do NOT, Do NOT, Do NOT purchase any LG refrigerators. I did not learn from my first mistake of purchasing a LG refrigerator. The first LG I purchased lasted for 4 years and died from a bad compressor. Of course after the warranty expired. I missed the lawsuit but 1 month. In need of another refrigerator, I was sucked in by the pretty bells and whistles of this particular $4,000 LG. $4,000 $4,000 $4,000 piece of trash. Now 4 years later same problem. Different LG compressor Error code compressor not working. And of course out of the warranty period. Please learn from my very costly mistakes and DO NOT give LG any of your money they already have enough of my money.

Filled with cheaply made plastics that break easily. Our air filter cover broke the first time I tried replacing it and a new cover is $100. If you want quality you need to buy something else. I hate the overpriced refrigerator.

If I could rate this unit a "0" I would! Compressor failed after just 5 years; KNOWN ISSUE by LG, with a class action lawsuit (closed in 2021, so we are not included). ABYSMAL customer service! They elected instead to offer warranty on the compressor only, up to 10 years, but they cannot locate any HVAC to work on it!! $458. in labor to boot which customer must pay. Be aware: HVAC professionals consistently say LG is impossible to work with, underpays them, and at times does not pay at all. Piece of crap, and I am so sorry I wasted over 3K on this. We are now buying a GE which carries much greater reliability.

I purchased this refrigerator in June of 2020. The first problem was the craft ice maker. It worked for less than a year. I have now been without a working refrigerator for over a month due to compressor failure. This is a well known issue with the linear compressor and several class action lawsuits have been brought against LG for this reason only. The repair company sent by LG replaced the compressor and it still doesn’t cool.Stay away from LG refrigerators

I bought this fridge almost 4 years ago and have had to get the compressor replaced twice. Currently dealing with most recent repair and it’s difficult to find a service repair company that works with LG warranty repairs. I have been without my fridge for 5 weeks now and no end insight. Unreliable and difficult to get repaired.
