Q: Can you turn off the craft ice so it makes more of the smaller ice pieces?
A: You can turn off the craft ice maker, however, according to the manual, each ice bin is specifically designed for each type of ice, and you will not be able to produce mini ice in both bins. However, you can turn the craft ice maker off and then just dump the mini ice bin into the craft ice bin for extra storage.
A: My old GE would freeze up too! I have this new LG with literally 4 ice makers in it, and it has not frozen up at all. It's working perfectly... also WAY QUIETER than the GE Cafe I had. Now my GE Cafe was 11 years old... but it should not have been freezing up. Made me crazy.
Q: if I buy the geek squad warranty, does this add to the manufacturer warranty or overlap it?

LG counter depth max
We love our new fridge! Had a whirlpool side by side for 21 years that was on the fritz, picked the lg for the 3 ice options. Love using the craft ice in our drinks! The ice balls are not perfectly round and clear, but good enough. The fridge and freezer is very roomy!we like the door in door where we keep our pop and treats for easy access. Like the sensor lights that come on when you get close. Overall thrilled with our purchase! Also the delivery guys were great from Best Buy!

Great refrigerator
We have owned this fridge for about four months and are thrilled with our purchase. Its sleek, minimalist design and valuable features truly stand out. It produces four types of ice, including "craft ice," which are golf ball-sized spheres. Additionally, it has a pocket door for easy access to frequently used items like milk. The French door design is also great, allowing us to store large dishes and trays easily. The sales team helped us select the perfect fridge for our needs, and the delivery crew installed it quickly and carefully. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our decision.
