At 52 dBA, this dishwasher is pleasantly quiet. I can run it during dinner or while watching TV in the next room without any disruption. It’s not silent, but it’s impressively unobtrusive.
The stainless steel tub not only looks premium but also resists stains and odors better than plastic interiors. The front control panel is intuitive and easy to use, and the overall build feels solid and well-crafted.
LG’s Dynamic Dry™ system works well—dishes come out dry and ready to put away, even plastic containers. Plus, it’s ENERGY STAR® certified, so I know I’m saving on utilities while being eco-conscious.

I love this dishwasher. Never had one with stainless steel tub so it's the "classiest".
I"m impressed that it cleans dishes that have been in microwave with cooked on food - no pre-soaking or pre-scrubbing required - and that's on the 'Normal' cycle. Haven't had to use any other cycle yet because 'Normal' is doing a great job.
It seems quieter than the 10-yo dishwasher it replaced altho that never really was an issue because the kitchen is well away from where we are when it's running.
As a TotalTech member, I was able to get free delivery & installation plus haul-away for the old one. The installers were very courteous & worked quickly. I was very pleased with their service.
I highly recommend the TotalTech service. It's worth every penny & has saved us hundreds of $ already this year.
Highly recommend this dishwasher if you're looking for one that not the least expensive or the most expensive. For me, it's the most bang for the buck.

I like this dishwasher. It cleans well and is super quiet. Lots of room for large pots and pans. I'm impressed.

It gets the job done with dishes coming out clean but it’s much louder than we were anticipating. There aren’t enough spines available on the bottom rack for more plates. The night dry feature gets dishes dryer than our old washer. For the price we paid, it gets the job done. I would have paid a little bit more for more WiFi connectivity.

Unit is quiet and does good with rinsed dishes. Definitely use Jet Dry or comparable additive. For price, having a stainless steel tub is a plus. Control buttons are a bit touchy need to be careful not to touch them when walking past or working at the counter.

Cleans very well, runs super quiet.
Only con: it takes 2+ hours to complete.
At the end of the cycle it still runs a drying fan.
I crack the door and power off when it is done.
Consumer Reports really liked this model.
I bought the extended service warranty... just in case.

I replaced a Whirlpool dishwasher with a plastic tub. This one is better in every way. It's quieter, it cleans better, it dries more completely, even the door is smoother and the seals are better quality. I didn't think I'd use the flex zone function but I find myself using it all the time, it's very convenient when you have a small load and don't want to wait to fill the dishwasher, or when you have delicates that you want to wash with pots and pans.

This LG dishwasher has been a great upgrade for my kitchen. It runs very quietly, even on heavy cycles, and the stainless steel finish looks sleek and modern. Dishes come out spotless without the need to pre-rinse, and the adjustable racks make it easy to fit larger pots and pans. Setup and installation were straightforward, and overall it has made cleanup much more efficient. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and quiet dishwasher.

Considering the price, this dishwasher is a pretty good value. It's quieter than our old Kenmore (except when in Turbo mode, which is quite loud), and dishes come out clean. It doesn't dry super well, but we just leave it open to completely dry. The rack layout is different than our old one, which we liked better, but overall space is on par. Overall satisfied so far. LG is supposed to be relatively reliable so I hope it lasts a good while.

There is enough space in the dish washer. Looks great after installed installed.
The dishes are clean just after 1 hour turbo cycle.
Best buy helped me load the dishwasher to my car

Great dishwasher for the price.
Zero issues, not to noisy, has all the features I need, easy to install, only “con” is the cycles do take a long time, but that’s not an issue!

This dishwasher is very quiet. It does a good job cleaning dishes. Only complaint is the bottom rack is awkward to load. It’s hard to get the bowls to stay in place. I am hoping I get figure out the best way to load it.

Good appliance, cleans well, but a couple of suggestions: The silverware basket takes up way to much room on the lower rack. The control panel is difficult to see and can be confusing.

We purchased the dishwasher for a little under $500 and picked it from the warehouse in Suwannee. It’s quiet and cleans well. Would have given it five stars but I noticed some dents on the inside of the door that coincide with the top rack. Probably happened when we closed the dishwasher and top rack wasn’t all the way pushed in.

It cleans fine, but it is noisy, the bin spikes are too close together for my plates, so it's a pain, and if someone leans against the counter where dishwasher is installed, very often one's hip turns it on! I wish I had chosen a different product.

Loudest dishwasher in the world

This dishwasher cleans dishes. It also is the loudest dishwasher I've ever had. I can't help but wonder if something is wrong with it. The push "buttons" are hard to read. It is easily turned off accidentally. The cycle is excruciatingly long. The only reason I haven't returned it is because I would have to pay to have another one installed. So--clean dishes but LOUD obnoxious operation.
Hi, Tiff. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the LG Dishwasher (LDFC2423V) model. We understand the importance of having a dishwasher that not only cleans well but also operates quietly and is easy to use. One helpful step you can try is checking the filter and spray arm area for any items that may be restricting water flow. When something is partially blocked, the motor can run louder than normal. Removing the bottom rack and ensuring the filter is clean and the spray arms spin freely can often reduce unexpected noise. Very quite. It is easy to use. It cleans well. The only thing is that when you stand in front of it it comes on so very sensitive to touch.

Finally, after close to 25 years, it was time for a new dishwasher. With the selection avaliable choosing was not that essy. After reading dictiptions, specifications and many reviews, I chose a washer from LG that fit my requirements. I’ve now had the new dishwasher for about three weeks, and my selection has been perfect. My dishes, glasses and tableware all come out spotless and dry, and the sound level, while operating, is barely noticable. I would highly recommend the LG dishwasher to anyone lookingbfor a first or replacement unit. I’m sure you will be pleased.
