    Looks great, but we started noticing a lot of our food going bad. Stuck a thermometer in the fridge and noticed that it was about 9 degrees warmer than it was set for. Freezer was about 20 degrees warmer. Had two repair people out - no fix. LG customer support was horrible. Finally found their "Email the President" link on their website. Under no pretenses that the President of LG ever saw our email, but finally we got an exchange authorization.

    3 weeks and it still won't make ice cubs. two geeks and no results.

    LG Fridge dead after 3 weeks!

    Bought brand new from Best Buy and after 3 1/2 weeks, it stopped working as in DEAD. $1500+ and food items down the drain. Worst, BB said it’s outside their 15 days standard warranty so NOT their problem. Don’t buy!!!

    Frosty Freezer

    The freezer keeps frosting and icing. Had the refrigerator unplugged and defrosted as suggested by LG Customer Service, cleaned up and corrected the messy installation job from the Geek Squad (not taking the tape off, not installing the water filter, etc), but the problem still exists. I will need to call LG again to get a technician come out and take a look at the problem.

    Trash fridge that didn’t even make it to 6 months. Not sure why there are so many positive reviews as the ice was slow from day 1. I called in and they said this was normal and we needed to load more food items… yeah, 4 months later and I’ve got a repair crew coming out. What a joke. DO NOT buy LG and DO NOT get the Best Buy plan.

    Do not buy this piece of junk ! One cup of ice per 24 hours! One ‘ we were away on vacation for a month and 3 weeks. Gave it 2 to warm up, now it’s non returnable!

    Piece of Junk.

    Very disappointed. I wrote a review more than a month ago, and Bestbuy never posted it. I bought this LG fridge In Early April, and it completely stopped working after one month. Despite several promises, LG never finalized an exchange or a refund of our money yet.

    Looks Great; Seal not tight

    Unit looks great. It is sleek and attractive. Unfortunate, the cabinet may be warped. Consequently, frost build up has accumulated in the freezer. LG is working on a solution. If repair issue is a resolved it would be great. Right now, jury is still out. Cools well. The only problem is ineffective seal. LG Technician has been very thorough. He listened and has diagnosed the problem. I have been assured that LG will stand by their product. This is yet to be seen. I can not recommend one way or the other right now other than to say "NO". If the repair is made and unit works properly then I will amend the rating.

    In the store, they sold me an installation service for total junk tech and they told me that they were going to install the new fridge with the new hose and they didn't do it because those who arrive are not installers, only those who make the delivery and pay for an installation professional total tech garbage, this is amazing

    Had To Return It

    Looked at this refrigerator at the store, ordered it online, and had to wait a week for it to be delivered. Hooked it up and other than the VERY SLOW ice maker it ran fine for ten days, then it completely died. No lights, no fans, no cooling...nothing. Thank goodness for Best Buy's 15 day return policy. Replaced it with a GE model and so far, so good.

    Techs could not properly install the refrigerator to water supply because of copper line. I had to employ a plumber to connect and install it. However freezer door could not close tight causing food to spoil. New techs came out to adjust the door but to no avail. A new door has been ordered and scheduled an appointment scheduled.

    Doesn’t cool.

    Good size, but cooling system not good. Even at lowest setting can’t get fridge below 40 and it spikes to45 sometimes. Having tech come out to look. Hopefully they can fix.

    Shelves are glass and shatteted while removing packaging tape. Otherwise, this would have been a wonderful product. It is spacious and very stylish.
