I ran into an issues (which has apparently been long known) where having multiple monitors requires you to literally restart your entire pc for it to recognize this monitor on wake. Had to return it.

That said, you _do_ get the same from other, non-crappy brands. What really puts me off is buying an $800 monitor to find out that the software is unstable and incomplete. The OnScreen control tool keeps crashing. In between crashes, it erratically resizes windows and doesn't really work well. Especially erratic after the system wakes up from sleep. Custom RGB profiles are not possible on macOS. Again, I do like the hardware, but I still regret the buy - I particularly chose this monitor over others _because_ of the software features.

I bought this monitor because it was apparently "Open Box excellent condition" but when i turned it on there was a dead pixel on the screen. A defective product advertised as excellent condition. Its obvious no quality assurance was conducted. The monitor is good and well worth the original price tag of 800 but it still hurts that i paid 709 for a defective product. Thanks a lot Best buy.
