Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the exceptional picture quality, impressive refresh rate, and vibrant colors of this monitor. Many appreciate the HDR capabilities and find the monitor to be a great value for its price, especially considering its G-Sync compatibility. However, some users have noted issues with IPS glow, while others have reported experiencing dead pixels. Overall, the positive feedback on image quality and performance outweighs the concerns regarding these less frequent issues.

Probably the best HDR 144Hz monitor available righ

Great HDR performance, on the few games that support it so far. Hoping to eventually pair it with an RTX 3080. Calibration only changed the picture very slightly, so it was close out of the box. No dead or stuck pixels on mine. Colors are bright and vibrant. GSync also works well. The local dimming is fairly useless, since it's only 16 zones and edge lit from the bottom. It generates a fair amount of heat, and uses about 65 watts when operating.

Vertical Line Woes: Disappointed with LG Support!!

help polish this product review: Right after the warranty expired, the monitor got an ugly vertical red line right down the center. I contacted LG support and they told me since it was not out of waranty, there would be a $350 charge to fix it. Very disappointing for such an expensive monitor from a world class brand such as LG to go bad so quickly. Sure! Here's a polished version of your review: I purchased an LG monitor and, unfortunately, right after the warranty expired, a vertical red line appeared right down the center of the screen. When I contacted LG support, I was informed that since it was no longer under warranty, there would be a $350 charge to fix it. This is very disappointing for such an expensive monitor from a renowned brand like LG. I expected better quality and customer support.

One of the best monitors out there. 4k gaming is amazing and at 27inches the ppi is perfect for desktop sitting distance. It’s got the 144hz to make gameplay feel smooth but needs to be paired with a great cpu and gpu to get the most out of it. Don’t buy it for the hdr as edge-lit hdr is a marketing gimmick that isn’t really comparable to tv hdr experience. Still this monitor is absolutely awesome value at it’s price point

Absolutely beautiful monitor. It's bright, the colors really pop, and it's fast. But omg, the ips glow is insane. I'd still buy it again but I'd feel better if it was $100 cheaper because of that glow.

Unbelievable steal when on clearance. Picked it up for $320 and it's a fantastic monitor. Crisp and clear once it's all calibrated. I highly recommend finding a YouTube video on calibration as there are settings on there that is not very clear what they do. Makes a giant difference.

After going 4k you can't go back. Colors are vivid and response time is good. Motion blur is still there but it's acceptable. Coming from a monitor with Ultra Low Motion Blur, still a downgrade in that department. The RGB ring on the back is okay. Don't really care whether it's there or not but you can disable it if you dislike it. Monitor overall is POGGERS.

The first time I bought this it worked for less than a day before malfunctioning. They exchanged it no questions asked and I haven’t had any issues since. The only thing it’s missing is the ability to swivel left/right. I still can’t figure out how to use the control center but that’s my fault I think!

Only had the monitor for 3 days but its the best monitor I've ever bought. Would definitely recommend a 4K at 27 inches if you work and play close to your desk. If you use a controller maybe go a bit bigger. Only con is that it is a bit on the bulkier side!

Great monitor in general but after a couple months of use there is already a dead pixel which is disappointing since I have gotten a couple monitors from lg and this is the first one that has done this.

This is a great entry-level 4K gaming monitor. The picture and colors are nice and crisp. Back RGB lighting could be useful but not a selling point. The fan is a little whiny but one could get used to it. Note that this isn’t HDMI 2.1 compatible so you won’t be getting 120fps 4k on consoles.

The Best 4k gaming monitor for its price. Nothing beats this monitor yet. I have tried other competitors i.e. ASUS, Aorus, MSI, LG still is the best. LG is the KING of making the best quality and speed for processing image on monitor panels only thing is the customer service needs major attention.

This is, without a doubt, an amazing monitor. That said, I do dock it a point (I'd do half a point instead if BB would allow me to) because out of the box there are several things that just don't seem to be set up correct. Pros: The color and black depth on this monitor are the best of any monitor I've had. The response rate is also amazing. Neutral: The monitor's menus are a bit confusing and at times it was unclear what certain options do. Cons: I still can't figure out how to turn off the RGB behind the monitor completely. I can set it to low so it is hardly noticeable, but I can't for the life of me turn it off completely. Out of the box, there were several setting (I still don't know which one was responsible for it) that would cause the brightness to auto-adjust in a way that was very annoying. I ended up turning several things off and it finally went away, but it seems like a very annoying thing to have on by default and I shouldn't have to guess to turn it off.

Purchased this monitor primarily to pair with a 3080, I've had 4K monitors but I wanted a higher refresh rate. Thanks to DP with DSC, I can get 4K 144Hz. The 10-bit color depth really helps for photo-work too, I occasionally make small instrument play-through videos on Premiere and I know I can trust the color settings used. 1 star off due to lack of HDMI 2.1 support, but I'm sure this will be more common among 4K monitors by this time next year. The RGB on the back is kinda nice, it's subtle enough in a medium-lit room, and not too bright in a dark room. I like that the monitor saves the RGB setting without having to connect the USB to your computer. My monitor also came with a 1.4 Displayport cable.

Love these monitors. I use three of them running 4K. Had to push the settings which was a little tricky but they display with zero issues once set.
