And when it did turn on it wouldn’t free sync with any of my devices. Had the warranty but didn’t bother just returned it for a different brand.

Breaks within three months

I used it for about a year as a work monitor before it bit the dust being transported in my trunk and having a skateboard slide into it. The colors were decent and my spyder ranked it as 98% SRGB which isn't bad. The monitor has poor contrast and black levels, but that's really to be expected with IPS. It has FreeSync sure, but I think it's range is like 47 to 60 or something. Not a lot of room. And it doesn't exactly have a fast response time. Don't get this monitor for gaming. But it works and you certainly can game on it and it's very enjoyable, especially for games that support the extra fov and can fix their huds so everything is stretched to the sides. The monitor has HDR but I mean its the crappiest looking HDR you've ever seen. There just isn't the contrast available with its black levels or low brightness. I would just pretend it's not an HDR monitor, pretty sure LG was just checking a box with that feature. Look this is a great monitor if you can catch it on sale for general computing. It excels at nothing, but doesn't fail at anything either (except HDR, but you aren't going to find many decent IPS HDR monitors). Btw 29 inches Ultrawide is not as big as you think it is. It's not a 27 inch stretched out, it's more like a 24 inch stretched out. If you haven't seen it in person you will almost certainly be disappointed by the size. If you're looking for an ultrawide replacement for a 27inch monitor then start looking at 32 inch or larger ultrawides.

Good for the price
