Q: Do I need to buy a hdmi cable or there is a cable comes with the monitor?
A: One comes with the monitor.
A: When you plug an HDMI cable into a PC, it automatically switches video and audio to the HDMI device. This monitor does not have speakers. You'll need to plug speakers/headphones into the audio out (headphone port) on the monitor or switch the audio out back to whatever you were using before you plugged this one in. Changing the volume as answered before, you'll see that it says "Adjusts the volume of the external speaker"

Q: Does this work with a MacBook Air?
A: If u have a hdmi connection port
Q: While sharing screen on zoom. Can I hide one side of screen from being shared?
A: Not sure. You can split the screen, not sure why you wouldn't just use the zoom's ability to capture just part of the screen (that's in their preferences). There's probably a way to cover with another open window.
