there seems to be a problem. once in a while the sound bar turns off when changing tv stations or going between dvd player and tv. and it is impossible to turn it back on. Have to turn the tv off andwait a couple of hours

Blown Subwoofer

Purchased LG OLED 65 C4 TV and wanted to get a sound bar to go with it. Prior to purchase had Sonos in mind as I have some speakers and Amp already. Working with 3 Best Buy salesmen, got talked into the LG 3.1.3 sound bar with subwoofer. Demo in the store sounded great, so thought I would give it a go. My luck the only available one was an open box but was advised in good to excellent condition. With excitement take TV and soundbar home to hook up. TV is great, soundbar subwoofer sounded muffled like it was blown. Tried various attempts to unconnect and reconnect, multiple settings to finally call the store. Person on phone could hear the concern and agreed that it sounded blown. Now out of luck as there isn’t another option for several days. Looking for another option. Can’t recommend this item

Sound bar intermittently working

The sound bar stops working some times for no reason. You have restart the TV or sound bar to get it back on. Had the Geek squad come out twice they check it out and couldn't find anything wrong. running out of warranty not sure what to do.

This is a okay sound bar system for the money. The only reason I am giving it three stars is because of the sound quality. It doesn’t sound like I believe it should. I am upgrading to the lg 9.2 sound bar system

I hate this soundbar. I have 2 other LG soundbars that are 10 years old that sound better than this. The fact that the main speaker on this soundbar faces up towards the ceiling is likely the reason. It projects the sound up not out. I contacted LG customer service to see if there's any way to improve the sound, but there was not. I meant to return this but yesterday was the last day, so I guess I'm stuck with it. Huge disappointment, it makes my new LG C4 OLED sound terrible.

This unit uses up-firing drivers to enhance Dolby Atmos effects, but if you're noticing that voices and midrange tones aren't coming through clearly, there are a few adjustments worth trying: Change the sound mode to "Standard" or "Clear Voice". Adjust the channel levels manually. Turn off AI Sound Pro, as it sometimes over-processes the audio depending on the content. Also, make sure the WOW Orchestra feature is off if you're not getting a balanced blend between the TV and soundbar speakers. This unit has all as the old cliché goes "the bells and whistles". I I would classify myself as technologically experienced having for years built mild computers. I spent the better part of four days trying to get some semblance of decent audio. It was unsuccessful. I returned the unit.

Open box item listed in Excellent condition. Missing necessary items for assembly and missing some cables. The description indicated “all items are included, may have minor cosmetic issues.” Contacted Best Buy to get missing items and was told I was on my own.

I don’t like the sound quality. Also it’s not super loud. All in all I wouldn’t recommend. Way to expensive for the low quality.

Good system I only wish that it had more bass I would like it to rumble while watching a good movie

Yea this soundbar… its not good. I got an open box “excellent condition” and the box was opened when it arrived forsure. It was mishandled you could tell in shipment. The delivery guy made note that it was damaged on the outside apparently when he delivered it. But it really shouldnt have been dropped off at my house at all in the condition it was. The deifinition for an excellent open box item is something like “like new condition with all parts.” The bolts and screws for the hanging rack were loose in the box. The subwoofer was chipped and scratched all over with dirt on it. The soundbar was in okay condition but nothing was like new. Or close to excellent condition. Maybe i would accept “fair.” I plug this think in to my tv to see if it works anyway and i can’t get the sub to connect but he speaker is working but sounds worse than my TV speakers. It was horrendous. I swear someone replaced the real speaker with a 30 dollar replica. Maybe you can buy new condition and everything will work fine and be better but not worth the hassle. Buy some else.

The sound bar doesn't appear to help make the dialog easier to understand as advertised. The subwoofer sound is acceptable. Overall, the volume with the subwoofer has to be turned down because it's too loud when attempting to make the dialog loud enough to get the full affect.
