I give this cook top 3 cause I wish it had knobs ,it ll be easier to turn it on and off but it a good fit

First unit was defective, would not turn on or off constantly. Second One came damaged and we had to wait 6 weeks for it to show up. Third one works but not real happy with operation. Wish we could have went with another brand but hole was already cut in countertop

We bought this cooktop and the first day it worked perfectly. Day 2 and one of the burners didn’t work, and the only way you could get the rest of burners to work would be to turn the breaker off and on. We returned that one, and they brought us another one. We were hopeful that one would work, but we had the same issues. We had an electrician install it, and even he was baffled. We finally returned it and bought a different cooktop.

Absolute trash, I am done with LG products after this. The touchscreen went bad in less than a year and the service is terrible. We have had 3 people come over in the last 30 days who cannot determine what part to order. Even though we had Geeksquad on this, they did not want to assist as this was still under manufacturer warranty. Completely disappointed by LG and BestBuy at this point.

Are you kidding? Glass stovetop was broken upon delivery. Good thing I had the unit shipped t the store. Return was simple. Last time I order an appliance from Best Buy.

Cooktop looks great and touch numbers for heat selection easy to manage. However, we are very disappointed with its ease of being stained. It seems that the heat projects into stainless steel material and caused it to damage and stain permanently. Natural cleansing agents do not remove marks. Even when the surface is smooth to the touch, some areas where bowls are placed for cooking seem dirty and stained. Very upset about this situation and product.

Do not buy it is scratches easily And I cannot be repaired

This is a total piece of cr--!!! Whomever the installer worked for, it wasn't put in correctly. Or maybe, the entire thing is a piece of junk. I've had to turn the electricity off at the breaker box at least five times and we haven't had it 3 weeks yet.

This cooktop did not fit my kitchen island cut-in space. I had to return this item.

Broke at 13 months. I loved it while it worked and sad that LG will only cover there items for 12 months. It’s a waste of money.

My 3rd and now final cook-top stopped working this evening after a very bad electrical burning rubber/plastic smell from it. My 1st unit lasted 6yrs with no issues then, the glass mysteriously cracked from the bottom left to the top right. Stove was off, cold and nothing on it. We were in the other room and heard a pop. The replacement lasted 6 months before it would play a "jingle" every few minutes and the only way to stop it and make the controls respond would be to flip the breaker. over several weeks this got more and more frequent before it stopped working completely. Despite having home depots 5yr plan, we had to deal with LG. What a horrible experience, parts back-ordered, not available, cant be found blah blah. After 2 months, they refunded us the money we paid. 2 months no stove! Foolishly I bought another one. Same thing having to reset the breaker though less frequently. 11 months later, and after the burning electrical smell & smoke this evening I'm done with this unit. Many complaints about the jingle and non responsiveness, most concerning when the unit is on (my experience was always when off thankfully) clearly show that the issue remains unresolved after many years. No parts, same issues yet they continue to manufacture the product. Shame on you LG.

Heats up quickly and good control of heat between settings. Warmer burner is very handy. Easy to keep clean even after spills. Every now and then it seems to go into a locked mode (different than child lock) and I need to reset the cooktop from the electric panel.

I love it! It is great to five burners and the one in the front acts like two depending on the size of the pot. It heats faster than regular burners. It also has a child lock to keep it safe.

I was able to purchase this as an an open box item, so the value was exceptional. It is very easy to use. The tempered glass, however, is not completely solid black but rather has some flecking in it. I would prefer solid black.
