The price was heavily discounted with purchase of an LG OLED TV. I'm not sure I was in the market for a sound bar without the discount, but I have to say I have been pleased with the sound and simulated surround. It is much better than I expected

Pretty good for the simplicity of it, really easy setup and average sound

I was expecting more from this sound bar, not much for surround, sub woofer is lacking compared to my previous 5.1 surround package but it's not bad for what it is. Only the bar and a sub, not six separate speakers, for that it is very good.

Easy to install. Great sound. Great bass. Easy to link to DIRECTV remote

Honestly I couldn't find anything good soundbar wise from LG but I knew I wanted this one because of it being 4.1. I have a small theater/game room probably 300 sq feet and its like a movie theater when this thing is on. Like anything else you'll have to play around with the numbers to get it to the right sound for you. Tip turn that subwoofer down its really loud!

The TV I bought has a great display but the sound needed help. That is where this sound bar came to the rescue. Easy to set up good pairing design with the LG TV. Having no basis for comparison I like the sound. Is this the best out there—will never know, but I am good with it.

This sound bar came with my new OLED LG tv. Have been watching for two weeks now and could not be happier. Sound is great! No problems hearing from anywhere in the large room where it is set up. I don't know all the technical vocab. for great sound bars.....all I know is the sound is great. Paid a bit extra for the warranty extension just in case!

As I am hard of hearing - background noise and music on the tv makes it hard for me to understand what is being said. I tend to turn the tv up louder and louder. With this sound bar, I am able to understand the voices without turning the tv up high. I love it!

I used an older model and this is surely an upgrade. Little longer by few inches for a 50inch tv, would be best with 55 inch and higher models. Sound quality is great in range. Sound is surround in a great way, doesn't feel like its coming from near the tv. it sounds as if there are speakers behind you.

The sound quality is relatively good and the set up is a breeze. It's not going to outdo my Bose, but this is a really competent add on for the price with clear audio for spoken words too.

This SJ8 soundbar is a quality speaker set, but it lacks the clarity and brilliance that a higher end bar might offer. The upsampling feature works really nicely, and music transmitted via bluetooth has a richer sound than normal through the SJ8. Still, the soundbar lacks the texture of the upper mid and high registers. Base is boomy and invigorating, but the overall sound can feel a bit muted because of the lack of higher frequencies. A good soundbar and actually a great deal if packaged with a new TV purchase.

We needed a soundbar for the TV that we purchased and had no idea which one to purchase. The sales person that sold us the TV showed us several and suggested the one he thought we would be happy with. It was great and we were thankful for his suggestion.

I like a whole lot of bass with my music and games. This does a decent job for me so probably would be great for most people plus it was free from LG with my tv purchase

Me and my boyfriend were torn on getting a surround sound system or a sound bar, and we’re pretty cautious when we went with the sound bar. But the sound is awesome! It’s like a being in a movie theater. It’s a great price for excellent quality

The sound on this is great. My biggest problem is that i can't get the voice from the tv and the soundbar to sync 100%. I use optical and use the LG opt setting. I've got a new LG tv as well. But no matter how much i adjust the settings, it doesn't perfectly match what someone's lips are saying and the sound from the soundbar. It's only slightly off and most people probably wouldn't notice, but if you're one of those people it may drive you nuts.

This sound bar is perfect for LG 4K OLED. The sound is amazing and installation was no problem at all. The price was discounted. The sound quality is great the fit is perfect and the price I got from Best Buy was the icing on the cake.

I got this soundbar for free with my tv purchase. It looks good and sounds good for just a soundbar and sub. Rear speakers would make it 5 stars.

sound quality is descent. can't wait to see how it handles football season. that'll be the test for me.

Very good sound bar great bang for the buck only wish the bass had more punch to it but thats going to be limited since its wireless.
