I purchased this washer because of positive experiences with LG front load washers. It seems to get an He rating because it uses little water. It does not wash clothes well. It ties the laundry into very wrinkled ropes. The wrinkles do not come out in the drier and are very difficult to remove with ironing. LG has replaced the control board and water valves with no improvement in performance. This machine is a faulty design that doesn't deserve any sort of high efficiency performance rating. Life is great for LG, but not for anyone shopping for a new washer. Your $700 would be better spent on a low efficiency washer that washes laundry.

I keep getting an uneven balance prompt in the rinse cycle when I wash. You have to keep rearranging the clothes. It took me 2 hours to finish the wash. Plus it takes too long for the computer to do a step .

I bought this then I found out it keeps giving me a uE problem then UE then stops. I called for repair the guy showed up he can't speak and understand English he couldent fix the problem/he did not know how to fix the problem. IT TUNRS OUT THIS MACHINE DOES NOT DO SMALL LOADS. owners manual page # 31 stats that. I called LG they said we can't help you (james)
