Clothes get clean, smell good, are spun well. The dash board for wash/rinse/spin/special is easy to use. All of that is expected of a good washing machine. My husband and I are most impressed by the lack of noise. My husband and I walked into the wash room after one of our grown kids had started a wash. Neither of us even noticed that it was working for several minutes because it was so quiet. He and I sleep in the next room, and we both have noticed that we can not hear it in the bedroom. Oh, the large capacity is helps also.

I became interested in this washer after seeing it listed as a best value pick on Consumer Reports. I've had it for a few weeks now, and I can see why it's listed that way. With no agitator, there's a ton of room. It's top-load, which isn't as desirable as a front-loader... and I wouldn't mind having a clear lid (although that's just one more thing to clean), but it's hard to find anything else to complain about. The balance is also very good and the spin cycles are amazingly quiet. I highly recommend this washer.

So far, everything is great with this washer. The capacity is fantastic, holding more clothes than I thought possible. It is so quiet, I don't have to turn up the TV anymore while the clothes are washing. The wife says the clothes are cleaner since we started using it. Some reviews mentioned a rust issue with the add detergent "drawer", so we leave it and the lid open until water dries up. Oh, and the installers from Best Buy were fantastic guys. The salesperson said new hoses came with the machine but they don't. The installers gave me some anyway. ( I didn't give this a 5 rating only because we've only had a month and time will tell if I think it is a 5. My last washer lasted 13 years, so I want longevity too.)

This lg washer met my expectations. So much room for comforters and anything else.

I was hesitant to buy a washer without a central agitator however, I couldn't be happier. I can wash our king down comforter, no problem. It gets everything much cleaner than my old washer. We are a couple so do lots of small loads. We have 3 dogs and do heavy loads of dog beds and area rugs. Everything comes out very clean and spun very dry.

This washer is outstanding! I have no idea why anyone would give it less than four stars. Very easy to use and does an excellent job. Capacity is enough to wash every towel we have for a family of four. The presets are great. You can create customized settings if you don't like what they offer. Overall I would say it's worth every penny! Note it is a top loader, so be aware you will be reaching into the very deep tub for socks. I guess if the capacity is all I can complain about, than I am happy. Finally, this thing is quiet. If you overload it, you MIGHT here the tub spinning. We are about 25 feet from ours in the basememt. I can honestlysay that I don't even know its on.

This washer is exactly what I was hoping to get. It has a great selection of washing options and they are easy to use/understand. I have no problems adding items once the cycle is started because you just pause it and it unlocks. I haven't had any problems with clothes getting "unbalanced" but I also made sure that it was properly leveled. Even using it's very high spin cycle (which really is crazy fast), it maintains balance very well and has minimal vibration. It's is unbelievably quiet, except for the jet engine sounding noise it sometimes makes (but very quietly). The cycles do take around an hour, but I'll happily accept that trade off for high-efficiency. Believe it or not, this appliance claims to only use $24 a year to operate. A great purchase and an excellent washer!

I am very satisfied with our purchase of this LG washing machine. After our 24 year old machine went out, I was under pressure to make a wise yet quick selection for a replacement. I searched customer reviews, visited showrooms, and read consumer testing ratings. Having had positive experiences with the LG brand in other products, I finally honed in on this unit. Since my husband installed it with ease about a month ago, I haven't looked back. I am very happy with the machine's appearance, quietness, ease of use (not old fashioned and not like flying a plane), and most importantly the cleanliness of our laundry. Its capacity is very large, so it will handle much more laundry per load than my old washer. I would not hesitate to recommend this machine to anyone in the market.

I absolutely love this washer. We have had it for a few months now and I still love it. I am not one that likes to do laundry but this washer had made it so much easier. We are a family of four and we always have lots of laundry to wash. We had a much older machine before this one. I can wash 3 times the loads of laundry per wash cycle compared to my old machine. That means I am doing the same amount of laundry is less time. Plus every one likes the light up features and the song it plays at the end of its cycle.

Purchased this washer for living in my first apartment. The features are very user friendly, and the best part about the machine is should your washer throw a user error code out, the washer has a smart phone capability to send the message to LG and they can determine what is wrong with the washer without having anyone come out first hand. The washer runs smoothly, and is very quiet. Fits a decent amount of clothes inside, balances itself automatically, and sings a happy little tune when the clothes are done. :)

I couldn't be happier with this washer. I was concerned about purchasing a high efficiency with load sensing capabilities. I was worried that my clothes wouldn't get clean. Much to my surprise, my clothes have never been cleaner. I'm amazed that it gets everything this clean without an agitator. I also love that I can run very small loads without wasting water with the load sense function. The cycle times are longer than my old washer, but it's totally worth it for the fantastic results. I should mention that it also has a pause button if you need to toss in a missed item. By the way, you can barely hear it running. Would be great for a laundry room near the living area. This washer was well worth the investment!

The washing machine looks great and works great. Clothes are even cleaner then our old machine. The HE uses less soap and water. I usually spin at medium and clothes are pretty dry. Lots of nice features and easy to use! Delivery and set up was perfect. We are really enjoying this new washer. It is much quieter than most. Soap dispenser and fabric softener tray is not the best. Hard to pour soap in at the angle needed. LG recommends cleaning the tray monthly and it is tough to pull out. Maybe it will loosen up with use?? I love everything but the soap tray. If you are under 5ft 3in. It will be hard to reach small items (like a sock) at bottom of drum.

I love this washer for how much clothes it can hold! I now do big loads of laundry and not so many little loads. My king size bedding fits with ease without the center aggitator! Has worked wonderfully and when the clothes come out they do not need as much drying time because it spins them so well. Plus this saves me money on the number of loads I do and less time in the dryer. Would highly recommend for a family! It is a little louder when it spins but this is in the basement and doesn't bother us at all.

Love this washer so far, the only thing is that all of these new washers (not just this one) take too much control away from the user. I don't really want the machine to be the arbiter of how much water I use. I would like to decide that for myself and not have to hold a button at every stage to add more water and then pause it so I can open the lid to see if it's enough. I would stress, though, that overall I'm very pleased and would make the same purchase again, since this seems to be a "feature" with all new washers. One final note: I have noticed that some people report off-balance problems. I have done small, medium, and large loads and have not found this to be a problem. As long as you distribute the load evenly to begin with, it seems fine.

I love this new machine. The extra large capacity is great, I can wash a very large load of towels or a king size comforter. Seems to wash great, the "normal" cycle is a little longer than my old machine, but as I figure this machine out it may have a shorter cycle. Used machine without reading directions, harder to figure out than most older machines, but its all digital so it just takes a little getting used to. The soap dispenser is in a strange place, I am sure I will accidentally put the soap in the bleach area at some point. Could have designed a better place for the soap and not in a pull out container. Overall, great machine!

Our broke down before the holiday and we were lucky we got it during the free delivery sale. I think it's better than my old front loader HE washer as it does get the clothe completely wet vs the old one just spray on it. The only drawback is that since the clothes are stack up, if you don't take out the clothes once it's finish, the bottom clothes will tend to absorb the the water and get more damp the others.

Easy to use - when a load is unbalanced, the machine displays a code and you can readjust your laundry manually until it becomes balanced. My old machine was noisy when unbalanced, and moved all over my laundry room. I am soooo happy with this new LG !!!
