I have been using this washer for two months now. I have to admit I haven't taken a lot of time to "play" with the different settings Water level is "sensed" by washer-sometimes I think it could use more water. Settings have to be set prior to each load (you can use your cell phone to program your favorite setting, but I don't remember to take my phone into the laundry room) Washer is quiet, and gets the job done

Replaced similar Samsung due to slanted control panel on Samsung's companion dryer. Very satisfied.

Don't know why we waited so long to get a front load washer, the best thing we've bought in a long time.
