Quiet but not as good as previous model

I got this to replace the previous model that had worn out bearings after 7 years. this one runs quieter, but lacks the sanitary cycle the old one had. It also vibrates in a way that makes it walk across the floor, which the old one did not do (on the same base). Minor issues really, so it's still a good deal on sale.

As a second front loader I have owned, I am not disappointed. This washer washes well...especially large blankets and delicates. I love that it does not tear clothing up (or get too rough). Washer is very quiet too and easy to use. Only wishes for it is the feeling that it needs more water in the load (so I use that added feature) and the cycles seem very long.

My washer died so I needed a new one. After looking at a lot of sites and reading a lot of reviews, I bought this. I wanted a front loader and have limited space in my laundry room so this was pretty much my only choice. It was the only full size machine that would fit my area. It was also on sale for $599. It is a bit semi loud when it adds water but that may just be me. Would gave it 5 stars but BB made buy AND use new hoses. I had just bought and hooked up new and better quality hoses but the delivery guys made me use the new ones.

Recently moved into a new home and wasn't crazy about the new appliances that came with it so replaced the top loader with a new LG front load set. So far have not had any trouble with them. I especially like the shorter drying time of the clothes because its spins the clothes sooooo fast!
The delivery guys were amazing and Mike, the salesman, worked with me on several occasions to get everything lined up with a "no pressure" approach. Very nice to work with.

This is our 2nd LG washer. The 1st one would get out of balance too easily and water remained in the rubber door seal. The new one has internal spin control and has not gotten unbalanced with a years' use. Also, the door does not retain water in the seal and the door has a well-designed catch to prop open the door for drying.

After the Whirlpool washer that we had for 10 years finally conked out, we immediately went into research mode. After looking at several brands, including Kenmore, Samsung, and Whirlpool, we settled on the LG based on the numerous positive reviews that we read in different websites. We are extremely happy we chose LG. It's really big, really quiet, lots of features, some of which we don't need but are glad they're there, just in case. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased an LG dryer. I wanted to have the washer to go along with it. It helped that there was a nice sale.
Set up went easily. Learning how to use the programs was a snap. So far it has met LG standards as well as mind. It's very quiet. Energy saving. I have only used it a few times but I believe it does a much better job than my old 15 year old unit. the spin really gets the water out which in turn saves drying time

I replaced a Kenmore front loader with this LG washer. This washer seems to do everything I need and then some. It is super quiet, adjusts run time for the size of the load, and has all the features I could ask for. I have three teenagers so there is a wide variety of laundry all the time.
I had Best Buy install the washer and haul away the old machine. The technicians arrived on time, were polite, efficient and very helpful.

I love this washer. I contemplated getting the 12 cycle version of this washer, but I didn’t think that was super necessary, so I went with this one that was a better price and it’s been great so far. The delivery process was very easy and the guys that set it up were very helpful! The only downside with front loaders is allowing it to fully dry with the door open in between use to avoid it stinking up!

This is the second time I've purchased this model, after I passed on my first to another family. It holds up to a queen size comforter, and yet washes small loads efficiently. I Can stop and add items after it has started running. Has just the right amount of water and spin selections. Quiet.

We purchased this washer after our previous machine stopped draining and we couldn't get it fixed. We have been very impressed by the capacity, how quiet the machine the machine runs, and how well it drains waters from our laundry. Even a full load of towels dries in half the time it used to due to the strength of the drain on this machine! We are very pleased and would recommend this appliance to anyone!

Traded in my 2 yr old top load for this front load model and I so glad I did. It is nice to see the clothes get wet and move one direction then the next. I trust this washer and no longer grumble load by load.
I'd give it a 5-star if only I could switch up a cycle rather than have to stop and start over. For example, if I forget an extra rinse - I can't just push the button, I must start over. That said, adding a forgotten item to the load is WAY simple.

Love the efficiency of this washer! It works quickly and the spin cycles leave the clothes practically dry (okay not really, but it gets all of the excess water out which cuts back on dryer and air dry times). My only complaint about this washer is that the machine does rock and make noise (off balance) on any spin cycle except for high, it isn't completely obnoxious but it is noisey. Other than that, I love it!

I recently purchased an LG front load washing machine. I read a lot of reviews first. And the # 1 complaint was that the machine was very noisy on the spin cycle. That is about the farthest thing from the truth as you can get. It is very quiet. Sometimes my wife and I forgot that the machine was running until we heard the chime ring at the end of the cycle. Give this machine a try. You will not regret it.

I read the reviews before buying this washer to replace my Maytag front loader. It is quiet and has enough bells and whistles to clean all of my clothes without being too overwhelming. You can use the recommended machine settings or customize your wash. It uses very little water, so it's important to select the correct type of load that you are washing. I have had it for 2 weeks and I am very happy

This is the third set of LG Washer and Dryer I have purchased, (I purchased a set for both of my condos and this one for my daughter). I love the way the washer cleans my clothing without damaging them. I can wash anything from delicates to King size comforters without leaving my home and they are always clean. My daughter stated giggling when the washer finished it's cycle and began to "sing" to her.

I have this washer now for a month and just love it, the variety of cycles is great, and the highest spin is almost to high, we don't even use it. I can get so much in here just amazing. The only issue was the installing, the people best buy uses refused to hook up, they said the hose connection was a little rusted, but my guy hooked it up just fine, works great.

I chose the LG brand based on the recommendation of a washing machine repair guy who said they were the longest lasting and generally cheaper to fix...this model fit into the space, and fit my needs. I really love the speed wash feature. So far it has been great, the spin is majorly powerful, but I usually set it to medium to stop the whole house from shaking!!

Easy to throw in a small or large load and know it will gently clean without damaging or knotting up fabrics. My clothes keep their shape longer and the washer doesn’t make a sound while cycling. As a full size stackable it is nice that the display is visible even for a shorter individual looking up, no slant to the display allows clear view of all controls.

We had a rough time getting these. We ordered a set of Kenmore front loaders to begin with. We had decided to try front loaders due to me being in kidney failure and I'm very short so I was jabbing my kidney into the corner of the top loaders. It was a big hassle. Long story short, we ended up getting this LG set thanks to the awesome GM at our store. The washer was getting stuck on.16 minutes. We asked someone from Best Buy's Geek Squad what could be causing it. Come to find out, you have to use either high efficiency detergent or dilute regular detergent. And you know you've put too much detergent in if you see soap suds. You also (if you use them) have to put the scent beads inside the actual washer and put the temp on hot so that they melt.
