We made the decision to buy the WashTower due to space utilization in our laundry room. Despite having a large laundry room, we wanted to utilize the space better and install a steam cabinet (also by LG). However, what we have discovered is that this unit exceeded our expectations and is no more hassle than the normal two units side by side! There was a little confusion with setting up the app, but we worked through it and it works very well (such that my wife can message me to put the clothes from the washer to the dryer when she is out, as she gets a notification that the wash cycle is done... Is this a good thing? LOL :-) Anyway, the controls on the panel are clear, simple, and easy to use. The washer works extremely well, with clothes coming out half dry with the high speed spin, and very fresh smelling (i.e. the rinse cycle works very well). The dryer is very efficient, but we have noticed that very large bedding items can remain a little damp in the middle, but this was true of every unit we had before). The issue being that even while tumbling, there always seems to be an area of the duvet that remains tangled, and thus holds a little more moisture). But, overall we are extremely please with our purchase! Oh, and one last point... When you buy this unit, get the extended warranty, as it's effectively half price! Because buying one unit that both washes and dries, you only pay for the warranty on one machine, not two warranties for two machines! That was another plus! I'd recommend this unit to anyone, especially as it makes life more efficient with the notifications, and the machines stay active more often, with less wait time between loads. A great combo machine that truly does it all. And looks fantastic doing it!

Hands down- one of the best combo Washer/dryers out there. On top of it- this unit does not take too much space. Love the finish touch to it. Using it- could not be simpler. The washer will communicate with the dryer to setup the optimal program for your clothes. Steaming- is another great feature. it will remove hard stains from clothes and the dryer can refresh it in a few minutes. The fast wash takes around 35 minutes to wash your clothes. The only reason why i am giving it 4 stars is the App. For some reason I can't setup the wifi to work non stop. Tried changing my password to not include special characters and still nothing. I need to reconnect the unit every time if i want to download new cycles and even with that- sometimes it does not work. LG help support is useless. Need to contact geek squad and let them figure this out.

This all in one stackable with the dryer controls right above the washer controls is A Huge selling point and dry convenient! It has all the space saving without sacrificing any features. The fact that the washer and dryer communicate dry you Do Not need to set the dryer setting is smart and spot on. It is very quiet, had a sleek design and the features are too many to mention. The doors close tightly and easily. Plus, it id much less than buying separate units and has wifi technology built into the units. I don't see any downside to this combo unit... If you can get one don't hesitate to do so!

This is such a wonderful set. Very quiet, very easy to use. And so attractive. I purchased through Best Buy and got delivery within days. No complaints.

This is a compact, no-nonsense washer dryer. You can customize functions or keep it simple. I bought this for my 83-year-old mother and she loves it. Buying from Best Buy took me less than five minutes and appointment was within the week for installation . Install team was terrific. They hauled off the old unit and installed the new unit in 15 minutes time without a scratch. Best Buy does require you to buy all new Supplies in order to qualify for free installation. However, if the install team does not deem that you need it, you can return the unused parts, Would not hesitate to buy from Best Buy again.

I love my new LG washer and dryer! Efficient, quiet, and user-friendly. Laundry has become a breeze. Highly recommend this duo!

LG Wash Tower is revolutionary, firstly it combines the best of front loader and does it by saving space as well. We had a limited space and were replacing a top loader unit. We tried getting Samsung ones, but due to spacing we could neither fit those side by side, nor could stack it. The Best Buy rep came in and recommended us slight adjustment and LG Wash tower can fit. This one was little pricey compared to Samsung, but had no regrets as we look back. This is quite, has very little friction, over all features are great and laundry comes out clean all the time.

Great size and gets the job done while saving a lot of space. The controls are located in a perfect spot.

First the product looks really cool, which makes all other stackable washer and dryer look old. Easy to use and it has been doing its job pretty well so far. The product opens a new generation of washer and dryer combo. Nice job LG.

We've been using our WashTower (electric) for over eight months now. There's just the two of us retirees using it. At first we didn't know what to make of this machine, as it was different from any other machine we've had. It starts and stops a lot during its cycles, which apparently is normal. It is fairly quiet, uses surprisingly little water, and seems to get our clothes clean. One thing I dislike about the machine is not being able to just directly dial in the settings I want. There are several presets available, so if you don't want to think about anything just select one of those and walk away. But if you want something different, you have to load a clunky app onto your phone. You open the app, select from among a bunch of different choices, and send it to the washer via wifi. For example, I do tie-dye and need a spin-only cycle. I was a little annoyed to learn that I could not choose that option directly on the machine, but have to use the phone app. And I have to do it every time I want that cycle. The dryer works pretty well. It has several presets, and the machine's default is to leave the clothes just a little damp. You have to set the dryness level higher if you want them totally dry. You can also do custom dryer settings, but you can't just punch in the amount of time you want. A default time appears, then you can select Less Time or More Time in 5-minute increments. I find that rather clunky. So the machine isn't perfect, but overall we are satisfied with it.

Love this set so far. Bought online after looking at several in stores for a few months. We needed something that didn't take up too much space in our small area. We love the fact that all the controls for both units are in the middle so you can see everything & not have to strain to reach controls for the dryer at the top. It's pretty intuitive to use, not too tricky. Plays a little song at the end of the cycles (I think it can be turned off if you get tired of it). I love the short wash cycle for lightly soiled items. Haven't had long so hoping for good experience in future.

Great looking machine. Quiet, efficient cycles. Best thing is the controls in the center of unit, since I am rather vertically challenged! Purchased this as a second laundry set for upstairs. Fits nicely in my closet.

We purchased this unit because it is in the garage at our home in Florida. It is very space-efficient, leaving room for the laundry basket and folding table. It is very quiet . . . surprisingly so. We did five loads of laundry the first day it was installed. The clothes were well-cleaned using the regular wash cycle. Drying was complete and didn't take as long as I thought it might . . . the washer spins out most of the rinse water before finishing its cycle. We used the steam feature for a new bed skirt, and it worked perfectly. This is a very attractive unit, and it works extremely well. Highly recommend!

We love the stackable washer and dryer. It’s quiet and easy to use. Takes up a lot less space than our older model. You can also customize your desired user setting.

Have had this machine for about a month now and so far it has worked well. Both the washer and dryer do their jobs above what we expected. We only had space for a single machine so this worked perfectly. It is very quiet and the controls are intuitve. Its on the pricey side, but we think its worth the extra costs. It looks very classy. The only issues I have are 1) the doors are permanently hinged on the left side, which may be a serious issue for some, and 2) the washer door sits very close to the floor, making it hard to load without kneeling down. I was told the machine can't be put on a pedestal. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

The washer+dryer is the most beautiful thing in my house, even more beautiful than my wife, and my wife agrees. It's very easy to use and very quiet. It's on the expensive side. I'm not sure if it's worth the added cost, but it is the only washer+dryer that would fit in the space we had available.
