Leaky valves

I am on my 3rd service call for this washer. The valves that deliver water to the tub, leak. The tub fills then leaks on to the floor. the valves have been replaced then the problem reoccurs. Works good otherwise.

The electronics and app pretty poor. The controls on the unit feel pretty cheap and it’s confusing. It seems to wash cloths pretty good. I guess that’s what it’s supposed to do. LG needs some help with user interface though.

Washer and dryer appear to be average quality in how well they work. Best Buy salesperson was very professional.

If there was a way of giving this machine a lower rating than 1 Star that would have been chosen. The machine broke after very little use. Dealing with LG became a complete nightmare and continues to be. They did not have the parts in stock because so many of the machines were broken, A complete wire harness burned out causing the Breaker in the house to trip and creating a potentially very dangerous situation. After multiple calls and promises LG still has not taken care of this after about 40 days. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE OR ANYTHING SIMILAR FROM LG. When I asked about the Class Action Lawsuit over this, the person in the Executive Team who refused to let me be connected with her Supervisor, said sorry I can only connect you with the Class Action Team on Refrigerators. Really hard to believe.

Dryer doesn't work, and isn't easy to fix

I purchased this in June 2024. It has never worked correctly. LG has been out to look at it twice but hasn't been able to fix it. The dryer component is the issue. It can't get the clothes even close to dry.

This item leaked after nine months. And, the service options from Best Buy were EXCEDING POOR. Do not buy this washer or do business with Best Buy.

This washing machine is very loud. It’s the design of the motor I think. I even returned it for a new one thinking the first one was defective but the second one was also loud. I bought this washer because consumer reports ranked it high and said it was quiet. Disappointing.

We have it for mknth and half and now the clothes does not dry in kne cycle we have to run it 3 to 4 times now best buy says i cant return it need to contact LG .

This LG washer was defective upon delivery. Best Buy gave me number for LG since its warranties. Between LG and Sears home services I have wasted months of my life and entire days waiting for service people. I really just want to return this machine.

Stopped Working After 9 Months

After only nine months my washer stopped working. There is no power to the machine. I do not recommend getting this washer. The low quality of manufacturing makes it an unreliable product.

First one delivered broke first load and flooded my laundry room. Second one is much louder than expected

I purchased an LG front loading washer/dryer set. Absolutely disappointing!!! I discovered that the washer is not in proper working condition. It sounds like a broken down airplane. I will be returning both units tomorrow. Now I need to pick out and wait for delivery of 2 new units. TOTAL WASTE OF MY PRECIOUS TIME AND MONEY! Wish I could upload a video. SOUNDS TERRIBLE!!!

problems for HE machines

HE system is good for savings but has less power to drain out the water from the machine that leaves residual water in the drum after completed operation (My drain is higher than 5').
I realize this after the machine was installed.

Pathetic best buy

You guys are pathetic; I am waiting for my refrigerator, washer & dryer to be installed since last three weeks. I got product delivered but its seating on my garage because of the incompetent guys you sent over initially as they can't lift the product upstairs to install. Now I got three installation day over past three weeks and everytime technician doesn't showed up. Whenever I call best buy , I just get new date and false hope; again I got a dat for 8/19, if no one showedup this time then I will surely take help from law to teach you guys tough lesion as I can't imagine you guys are so pathetic and incompetent.

Missed Delivery & Poor Communication

Original delivery date was completely missed and I was never notified of them not coming, which cost me 1/2 day of vacation. I was the one who had to reach out to reschedule and then I had to go to the end of the delivery line, which was 4 days later and had to take another 1/2 day vacation. Just a terrible experience and I’ll likely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
We understand that you had such an experience with a missed delivery and lack of notification, which resulted in the need to reschedule and take additional time off from work. Broken in one month

The machine starts to shake and make noise in one month.
When contacting LG support, they make up all kinds excuse not to send a technician to check and fix the problem, i.e. they need a clear picture from back or shot a video.
Avoid this company.
