3 months of rent down the drain, and for what? Uh... the best TV money can buy under 50”. Deep inky blacks with infinite contrast. 120Hz true input. I would’ve bought a Sony but they still haven’t come out with any 48” model, so this’ll have to do. It’s heavy, and the build is very high quality. You get what you pay for. Hypothetically, this is the best OLED thus far, because the pixel density is incredibly high. If you’re looking for a new TV, this hits every mark with high marks at that. Gaming, Movies, TV, Etc especially when watching in a dark room. Better than any movie theater I’ve been to. It’s a two person job getting it up though. Try heavy and awkward.

Great looking TV with excellent sound as well. I would recommend having two people to remove it from the box and install the stand but pretty simple. TV setup was also pretty quick and easy as it only took about 5 mins. Connects right to my WiFi and connected all my apps like prime and Netflix. I went for this model because I'm pre-ordering an Xbox Series X and wanted to get the most out of the next gen console. I would definitely recommend if ur looking for a TV that can make use of all the next gen tech as this TV supports 120hz refresh rate and has 4 HDMI-2.1 plugs. Now I just can't wait for the new console to be released.

Best TV for Xbox Series X!

Amazing TV for Xbox Series X. It does have some issues I'll go over, but I think it was definitely worth getting, and I'm very happy with it! The picture quality is the best you will ever get right now on a gaming TV. It is very bright and has deep inky blacks. Dynamic Tone Mapping makes it look more appealing and brighter, which I love! Never have to worry about sliders in games, because this TV makes it so easy to figure out where to set them, which was something I had trouble with on my previous monitor (since it didn't have tone mapping or HGiG support). The motion is just perfect. Instant response time and no ghosting. VRR helps make games feel so smooth. No flickering at all except in menus/loading screens with it. VRR does sadly raise near black levels, so I recommend setting Brightness to 49 when you get the TV, especially if you are using this for PC gaming or on Xbox (I saw it raise gamma even on Xbox HDR Calibration App :0). Putting it to 49 pretty much makes it look normal. Also, putting the TV in PC Mode (by switching the HDMI input to it), you get low input lag on ALL picture modes! PC Mode also makes this TV even better because you get the clearest image possible, so text is clearer, colors are more pure! I did find the posterization or color banding/gradients to be pretty bad on the TV. I thought there was something wrong with it when I saw most games depicting this. You look at the sky and see rippling and banding. You can actually see the gradients, like they aren't smooth at all, and it's pretty blatant. It's in almost every game, and I've tried a bunch like Destiny 2, Sea of Thieves, AC Valhalla, etc. I can ignore it and live with it, but it is something to be aware of. I did come from smaller monitors that had near perfect gradient performance, but still, this TV is not great in that regard, especially with greys and blues I find. One thing to note is how in PC Mode the gradients/banding is a bit better. Another reason to be in PC Mode :) I also am having an issue where I see the No Signal screen if I switch games or apps on Xbox. Doesn't happen often, like once a day maybe. An easy fix is to simply restart Xbox, and it takes like 20 seconds to get back to where I was. I think it was a software update that messed it up because never had this weeks previous to the last update. I tried different HDMI 2.1 cables, different ports on TV, turned off certain features like Instant On for Xbox, and it still happens. Hopefully they fix this in a future update. Other than that, I think the TV is really great, and I definitely recommend it!

I'll start by saying I first purchased a Samsung qn90a and within a day realized for me personally it was the wrong choice. I love samsung, but this oled is perfection in every way from picture quality to gaming. Purchased exclusively for pc gaming and while it may be a bit overkill for size. Just sitting a little further back changes that issue easily. Setting a screen saver to come on quickly and using a wallpaper that isn't a static image (via wallpaper engine on steam) has got rid of any burn in worries.

I use this as a gaming monitor for my PC because I recently upgraded my PC to include the relatively new GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card from Nvidia. I chose to utilize this TV as a monitor because of it's superior picture quality in comparison to the IPS monitors I was using before (Acer Predator XB271HU). Now I have a monitor that is 4K 120Hz, RGB/YCbCr 444, HDR and Gsync compatible which is larger and half the cost in comparison to Acer's future X32 LED gaming monitor. Burn-in seems to be a non issue as long as you keep brightness at a reasonable level and utilize the built in functions that help prevent it such as automatic static brightness limiter, and pixel shift as well as utilizing a black desktop background and utilities that will turn off your screen if are AFK. The TV itself is very thin, quiet and cool to the touch and the sound quality from the built-in speakers are great. I do hope they come out with a 42 inch version as I would like to go back to a dual monitor set up. This display lacks a display port (it's a TV after all) so keep in mind that you must purchase an HDMI 2.1 compatible cable along with your 30 series card in order to display at 4K and 120 Hz. For gaming this display isn't plug and play and you will have to spend some time to make some adjustments in the options menu before it's ready for PC gaming. To be honest I haven't use this display for enjoying television programming so I can't offer my opinions there. For some tips and guides and more information that will help you with your decision look up the OLED_gaming subreddit.

I've owned this tv for a little overv a month now and use it in my bedroom. I love how vivid the colors are, with absolutely no bleeding. The interface is pretty easy to use and very responsive too. The design is also very sleek and the stand is not pronounced so in a dark room it disappears. The sound is also excellent and there is an AI audio option that pretty much finds the best settings for the room you're in. I have my PC and PS5 connected to the tv. The vrr turns my midtier GPU into a high-end one by practically filling in the remainder frames from anything between 40-59fps, making it a smooth 60fps. My experience with this tv and PS5 is quite pleasant as well. Games look beautiful running at 60fps on the Cx with a PS5. I haven't gotten the opportunity to test out any gaming on pc or PS5 at 4K/120fps but hopefully the experience is excellent as well. Also, the game mode input latency is is very low and highly recommend for an entirety higher level of gameplay responsiveness. This tv has great picture in bright and dark rooms too. Overall, this is an awesome tv, with excellent quality picture, excellent HDR, amazing for gaming, with lots of picture, audio and smart option. It is great for watching movies and gaming on consoles or pc. I highly recommend the 48" Lg Cx.

How can you not love this TV?!! After buying the 65" for the living room and loving it so much, I saw that it came in the 48" size and decided to upgrade our master bedroom TV as well. I know is seems a bit extravagant... and it is, but... the picture quality on the OLED CX sets is just plain stunning and in a league of its own. The black blacks make dark scenes a whole new world. No more halo's and light artifacts bleeding from other objects in dark scenes... just dark and black the way its supposed to be. The contrast and color fidelity of the CX series is remarkable and astounding! And the sound is great as well, which we really appreciate for the 48" CX in the bedroom. (The living room TV is connected into our sound system.) There are lots of other great features, too, like how we have both the TV's hooked into Alexa (on, off, volume, mute, weather, music, etc.), the straightforward WebOS with "ThinQ" and voice control in the remote, and HDMI CEC for integration with our stereo receiver. Best TV I've ever owned... bar none... not even close.

My favorite TV by a long shot! Easy setup, easy adjustments, unbelievable picture in the home setting, and noticeably better for xbox series x / ps5 gaming with 4k & REAL 120Hz refresh rate. Gaming, movies, sports, everything is so clear and crisp and transitions beautifully. Pricey but so worth it!

I’ve only used one OLED before and that was the 65 inch C6 from LG. This TV I bought for my bedroom to use for gaming as it has g sync compatibility and 120hz. The TV has been a great choice for gaming and the HDR is phenomenal. The only complaint I had about this TV (and it’s not really a complaint) is that it’s too bright. That being said it’s an easy adjustment using the built in energy saver or OLED adjustment. For a 48 inch OLED this one is amazing. I wish LG made a 43 inch that would fit my space a little better but honestly the larger screen hasn’t bothered me.

Great TV for gaming and movies! Gives you that true cinematic experience when watching a movie or tv shows! The OLED CX is the best TV on the market, my mom has the Samsung QLED and you can clearly tell the difference between the OLED CX and the Samsung QLED. Would highly recommend this TV!

I am using this TV as a gaming monitor with a nvidia RTX 3080 graphics card. Be sure to use an hdmi cable that can support HDMI 2.1. It may be expensive compared to a traditional monitor, but it is 4K, 120hz and it is 48” plus has the ability to work as a TV.

As good as all the reviewers have said it would be. Best viewed at around the 4-5 feet away. You get the benefits of the OLED. Clear images with deep blacks. Bright screen and best viewing angles. Software is very responsive and the magic remote making it easier to navigate. So far the biggest drawback for me is just that you need to put the picture mode it game mode to get the fast input response instead of having it as a separate option to toggle. Decent option for a content creator since you have to toggle also the picture mode to get the color gamut accuracy to its best. Another worry would be the dreaded burn in issue. Although not as frequent as it is made out to be. The application has a lot of ways to mitigate it and on average around 1-2% of customers per store does end up having issues. If you really want to be safe just include the best buy protection they cover burn in damage. So far only best buy covers this.

I put this through it’s paces with gaming and it is superb. It’s so good I may buy another one! The BLF works but a tad to dark. It now supports Freesync Premium with an update. Dot pitch is superb. Games look awesome with HGIG HDR enabled that support it. Input lag on PSX,PS2,PS3,PS4 etc,. are not a hindrance on gameplay none that I noticed. Just scan works great for retro gaming. Overall I’m very pleased and set for next gen gaming.

The picture is insane. HDR, 120 FPS GSYNC. Like a gamers dream come true. Yes, somewhat pricey, but you pay for what you get. OLED just cant be beat, not sure I will ever buy a monitor again. TV is best of all worlds. Needs 2.1 HDMI support from sources, but its not LGs fault.

Picture is beautiful - sound is great with the forward facing sound. Extremely thin but quite hefty in weight . That surprised me but pleased me as I was worried it might be too light and be unstable. Not an issue. Color is so bright and vivid. I have not even touched a setting since I took it out of the box. This is my first smart TV and I love it. Being able to watch Netflix and You tube etc is just wonderful. There is not one thing I dislike. I'm still learning the remote but the voice search assistant is very helpful. While 1499.00 seems like a lot of money, and it is, I feel it well worth it compared to lesser priced TVs I have viewed. I even got the Geek Squad warranty so I can relax with all the newer features. Just awesome!

I was in the market for the best gaming tv I could get for Next Generation or just gaming period and this is 100% the best purchase I have ever made. I have owned or tried every High End Model from all the Brands this year be it Sony, Samsung, etc and they didn't cut it. This LG CX OLED however blew me away and the 48in is absolutely perfect for gaming. Everything looks unreal on this. I will never go back to LCD/LED again. It is WORTH every penny imo and more. If you are on the fence seriously just buy it as nothing can compete with it right now. Once you go OLED you will never go back.

Could not be any happier! Stunning picture and 4 FULLY functional HDMI 2.1 ports! Have been a loyal Samsung fan since 1080p TV's came out way back in 2008 so we pretty much have a Samsung in every room now. They have been fantastic and ALL still look GREAT!! When the new consoles came out I knew I wanted one that would take advantage of the new capabilities of HDMI 2.1 for the "man cave". Could NOT believe Samsung chose to only include only one fully functional HDMI 2.1 on the QN90a so over to LG I happily took my money!!! Fight corporate greed and disrespect peeps! This is my first OLED TV and very impressed with build materials and all the features to fine tune it to my preferences. LG may have stole my affections with being attentive to my needs.....

I never believed a TV would be a feasible solution to use as a PC monitor but LG has proven me wrong. I'm currently rock'n this beast with a 3090 and it is smooth as butter after you tinker with the settings but there are plenty of YouTube and other guides outhere to help you get the most out of it for PC or console gaming. Along with being a gaming beast it fares well for work and other productive activities such as web development, photoshop, illustrator, after effects, premiere, and fusion360. I'm not a pro content creator but it will definitely clear up your workspace. Here's at tip of you are using it as a PC monitor, download Windows PowerToys and use FancyZones it will change your life.

I love this TV! I was so worried about getting an OLED due to burn-in, it seems like you need to really try to make that happen with these newer models. I mainly use this for gaming, and moving form my PS4 Pro to my PS5, my jaw is on the ground with how incredible this picture is. Streaming shows of WebOS is great as well. SO happy that LG was able to come out with something under 55". Check out a site like HDTVTest to learn about the picture settings on the C-Series in general. They make things so easy to comprehend and really helped me find setting the right settings for me.
