Prior to this one I had only had a fairly cheap one that did improve the audio experience. The SN9YG from LG is a fair bit stronger and comes with significantly more features that make it a great bar to tailor to any space.

It automatically goes to Atmos mode and really gives that theatre sound when watching a movie that accesses this feature without any additional steps at first i thought i had broke something because it would change between "movies, music, etc...." lol. Wish it came with more detailed instructions but that's a manufacturer thing.

LG Sound(Sub-Par)Bar

First of all the subwoofer has popping noise everytime theres any bass but it happens randomly. Second is I got this for Dolby Atmos on the internal Video Apps and they have popping noise. Thirdly, I wanted to game in Dolby Atmos on my Xbox Series X and PS5 and when using E-ARC or ARC there is serious audio delay which totally kills the immersion. Its better on PS5 when connected directly in to the soundbar but I thought E-ARC was supposed to correct audio delay and be all around better for audio ala "E for ENHANCED" Forthly my gameroom isnt that big to i figured the Dolby Atmos would be amazing and quite honestly, I hear sound separation but I dont hear things all around me or above me. Which is the major selling point of Dolby Atmos and the main reason I purchased this soundbar. I will probably return this, but I will still mess around with it to hopefully fix some of its issues.

My 8 year old Bose was better than this!

Altho it sounded phenomenal in store. I got the open box version for crazy cheap. Around 600. It worked well. But then 2 days later. Sub started losing connection. When switching sources (ps5 to Disney plus app on tv for example) it would go dark. No sound. You have to turn off and turn on again. Sound over all sounds tin canish if that makes sense. Sub is absolute garbage, coming from a 8 year old BOSE cinemate 15- my wife thought it was a downgrade! So I Upgraded to Sonos arc and sub and it’s night and day difference! Don’t waste ur time. It’s also big and heavy so returning will be annoying lol.

It sounds okay, decent enough for our living room, we'll still go want movies with our full surround sound in our basement. I don't think its work the $700 I paid for it though.

Good Buy

I enjoy the clarity of speech and the deep, but not overpowering subwoofer. The background was exactly as I wanted it to be - "background." When playing music, we can increase the volume and we get excellent sound and no distortion from a rumbling bass. It was a good buy for me and my family.
