I was weary of having so much faith in just a sound bar but this thing blew me away. I can’t wait to pair it with the wireless rear speakers and see what it can pump out. I’m using eArC right now and it is incredible to feel the sound moving around you.

Great soundbar at this price,(Black Friday) extremely easy installation with the Google Home app. Even the wall mounting is extremely easy. Sound quality is excellent, a great addition to almost any LG TV. It is also a great Bluetooth speaker.

I bought this sound bar to go with my new LG OLED TV and didn't expect to sound this good. The Dolby Atmos works phenomenally. You can really hear sounds come from the sides and above you. I really thought it was a gimmick but I guess not.

It makes noise, so it has that going for it. It also, plugs in to HDMI which is another plus. Now, that you're hooked up, sit down and watch a movie with Dolby Atmos, so you can experience a soundstage from a sound bar that is only periled by that of a $30 bluetooth speaker. What ever you do at this point, do not look at your receipt, or even think about the $800+ that has just left your bank account because all you are going to do is plan your next day around returning this thing. Just tell your self it needs to "break-in" for 2-3 weeks. It will eventually stop sounding like someone wired all of the channels into one singular speaker and then attempt to drown that out with bass. Just kidding, don't waste your time, money, or energy thinking this remotely a good choice. I would highly recommend going to the local Target or Walmart and picking up some Dixie Cups and String. Put those together and tape one end to the speaker then just hold the other up to your ear. The sound stage is awful. I have one of their $200 2.1 sound bars that sounds better. Also, its not blown drivers or crackly audio I am talking about that would indicate a faulty unit. At this price point, you should be able to (and can on pretty much all other competitors) discern between the channels in the audio. Not at all, and the calibration literally makes zero difference.

Some problems setting it up with my Sony Tv. The bar must be turned on in a strict order. I use a smart plug to turn it off and then back on. That solved the problem

Don’t do it. Sounds great when it works. However you you do a simple internet sear of “LG subwoofer won’t connect” you will see a long history of subwoofers from LG having this issue. It started for me on this model about a month after having it. They blame it on other wireless interference. I only have my tv receiver and Xbox below the tv. Same as anyone else. I’ve now had this unit for 6 months, it now won’t reconnect despite trouble shooting and doing full resets. Now LG wants me to ship the woofer and Soundbar to them. Do yourself a favor and go with something else.

Do not recommend this product something went wrong with the design . We had ordered an open box item the first time because the item sounded awesome and if I can get it for an open box price why not. but as soon as we installed the connection from the sound bar to the subwoofer kept disconnecting and making weird noises. So I figured that’s what we get for getting a open box and going the less expensive route. so we took it back and got a brand new one because after all the sound was amazing but when we installed we had the same problem the subwoofer would disconnect from the sound bar. so we ended up returning it because even though we had purchased the geek squad insurance they couldn’t help us either.

Must know how to fine-tune to sync it properly

I think the sound is good IF you can get it to sync properly. It took a lot of tweaking and fine-tuning to get it where the lips on the screen matched the sound on the speaker. I wish Best Buy had a 30-day return policy on these because 15 days was way too short to allow time to find the manual online (because heaven forbid they include one), read through it, then figure it out with the tv, fine-tune, read some threads on why things aren't syncing, fine-tune some more. So if you don't think you can get it done within the return time, look for something else. I would have returned this if my return time hadn't run out. I had to try many times to get it to work and then life with work just happens and before I knew it, my return window had closed.

Purchased this soundbar in March 2021, we are now in May 2022 and conveniently my subwoofer went out, literally out of nowhere. I tried unplugging and replugging but nothing seemed to work. Also whilst trying out different outlets, it is very inconvenient to purchase something and not knowing it wont last over a year. My previous LG soundbar system lasted 10 years and was half the price of this one. I am deeply disappointed in how cheap and inefficient LG has become.

Annoying you have to do everything through an app. Also i had an issue with sub cutting out randomly so i changed to 2.4 ghz instead of 5 on the wifi and it fixed issue with sub cutout

Not worth the money. Connection kept cutting in and out. My wife and I tried everything to have the best connection possible, and still no good. The issue was that the wireless connection between the sub/bass kept cutting out every couple of minutes. We took it back and exchanged it for the same one because we thought it was a defect. Still the brand new one still had the same issue, then we swapped it out for the Sonos arc, and sub gen 3 and huge performance difference. Sonos arc and sub worth every penny and the sound is amazing.

I'm going this 3 stars because I'm having an issue where the subwoofer keeps on cutting out. Every so often it shuts off and takes a while to reconnect. When everything runs the way it's supposed to the speaker sounds amazing.
