The soundbar has a random tendency to turn itself off in the middle of tv shows until you unplug it completely from the wall and back in again, which is a pain if you have an entertainment center like I do. So I just put up with it and don't use the soundbar often. Then the other day I walk in and the sound seems odd. Turns out the subwoofer wasn't turned on. I did all the troubleshooting possible and it's a dud for no apparent reason. Nothing else plugged into the surge protector is having issues but the subwoofer just up and quit. I called LG support and wouldn't you know it, the product is 25 days past the warranty period. I suppose they just expect customers to purchase a new $1000 soundbar from them each year. No thank you, will not buy an LG product again. Beware, these things are on a clock.
