    This was an out of the box purchase, we were told everything worked. the one in the store sounded great, but when we got ours home, the sub woofer didn't work. we returned it with no questions asked, but decided not to buy an out of the box item again.

    This thing is absolute garbage, literally. Despite being plugged into through a surge protector, a simple brown out in our house fried the motherboard of this bar. Now, it will not boot up, and just stays stuck with a PLEASE WAIT message on the display. (Google "LG please wait" and you'll see this is not an isolated incident.) And of course, this happened the month after the warranty expired. LG won't help, no local electronics stores can fix it, and I have no way to even order a replacement part for it. I have a $700 brick in my living room. This is criminally bad that something this expensive, this premium, would be rendered utterly useless over something as common as an electrical fluctuation. I'm 100% done with LG products. This is absurd.

    Subwoofer no longer connects and just gives a blinking red light. Called LG and opened a case. They were supposed to send a box for a repair and nothing yet. Look elsewhere for a soundbar. Not a great experience.

    13 months later and the Soundbar no longer connects with the subwoofer. Same issue as many of the other reviewers here. Called LG support and we tried some troubleshooting steps, and couldn't get it to connect. They won't acknowledge the warranty, so they gave me a number for a "local" service shop that is over an hour away. I'm so frustrated that I don't think I'll buy an LG product again. Dropped $800 on this product just for it to die just outside the warranty, and LG doesn't offer any concessions? Nah, I'll take my money to companies that actually stand behind their products. When it worked, it was a great soundbar, but don't expect it to last. :(

    Great but short

    Its a great soundbar and the dolby atmos sounds great but i only had it for a year and the soundbar gave out. I have had to reset the soundbar probably 5 to 6 times and it was on a reset loop and the hdmi arc stop working.

    It's only been a year since I bought it, and the subwoofer doesn't work anymore! no longer connects to audio bar. For that price and brand (LG) I expected more, but it's crap

    Buyer Beware of Subwoofer Pairing Problems

    Purchased sound bar setup for new home and all was well until a year and some change the subwoofer stopped pairing with sound bar. I researched all possible tricks to resolve issue and I even called LG support which had me repeat many of the same steps I tried before. Long story short, the subwoofer will not pair. After additional research and finding many people with the same problem there's likely a faulty module. I'm over my one year warranty so I'm too late to get any redress. To anyone purchasing this sound bar beware. Do online research on subwoofer pairing problem before you buy.

    stopped working in 18 days just after return period. Worst product possibly in soundbar, Don't recommend to buy this product. So expensive and now totally dead.

    The E-Arc constantly disconnects if you change inputs. Sound is adequate but I expected better since it is paired with an LG TV.
